Easily the best tap selection Iíve seen in Dallas. Only a few miles away from where I use to live. Iíll be back every single time Iím back in Dallas. I feel this place is really going to contribute to the beer scene in TX. Amazing tap list, I thought it was the bottle list at first (Mikkeller Frelser, Tokyo*, Snowmageddon, La Folie, some hard to find Belgian Kegs all on tap in TX). They also have a full bar and may or may not have some pretty cool bottles. Enjoyed a few bottles of some very good stuff while I was there. Great, friendly and knowledgeable service. Still not a great area. Didnít try the food, but the menu looked pretty decent. Interesting atmosphere. Worth a stop if you are even remotely close by.

I was in town for Thanksgiving and my buddyís girlfiend suggested we go here. I hadnít heard of the place and I was looking to go to either The Meddlesome Moth, Ginger Man or The Common Table. I walk and and the place does have a kind of dive bar field but as soon as I saw the selection on the board and on tap I knew this was a cool spot. I a Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet and Boulevard Nut Cracker Ale (neither of which is available in Cali. And the Oskar Blues Ten Fidy, which I had been wanting to try but the price of a four pack was keeping me from buying it without knowing how it tasted. Now, itís on my must buy list. The food selection is a bit limited but it wasnít youíre typical bar food I had a turkey pastrami sandwich with sweet potato fries which was pretty good. Overall I liked this place and look forward to a visit there next time I go back home.

Spent the evening of my 5th wedding anniversary here because Iíd heard great things about the beer selection on draught, and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is that of a dive bar for the most part. The neighborhood hasnít really been refreshed just yet, but I suspect Strangeways may help lead the charge. Itís really one of the only places on this street Iíd visit within at least 500 feet. I didnít explore the street enough to know otherwise. Great patio and people watching, although a bit smoky. To be expected when smoking indoors is illegal I suppose. Service was top notch. The bartender Vince made us feel like weíd known him a long time, despite just meeting him that evening. The owner Eric was equally welcoming and spent lots of time talking to us. Selection of beers rivals that of any place in Dallas, including The Moth, and The Common Table and I told them that. They had La Folie on tap which was drinking phenomenally. Also had the Southern Star Pro-AM 2011 which I havenít seen elsewhere just yet. Plenty of Bear Republic, 512, and lots of other great beers. Stuff you donít see everywhere. You can tell theyíve worked hard on having unique stuff that no where else does, and the mix is just right. Iíll definitely be back, my only complaint is that pricing is slightly high. When you have a place as beautiful as The Moth and this place charges more than they do for beers, somethingís not quite in balance.

This is a great little place. 36 outstanding taps. No Guinness, no Boddingtons, no Sam Adams, no bud/miller/coors. All good stuff. Green Flash, Southern Star, 512, Bear Republic, Clown Shoes, you get the drift. Cool ambiance, and much more "comfy" than The Moth or The Table.
