Nice little shop. Maybe 15 or 20 different Struise beers. Hard to tell as some labels vary for the same beer. Good assistance available. Conversation quickly went over my head on beer events. Good place to find Struise not usually seen in the U.S.
This is a tiny shop in a Bruges style shopping mall, but it holds a treasure trove of beer. The owner is a prodigous beer collector who will discuss his business and his beer with customers. Lots of Struise, De Molen, Lambics and local beers. Four beers on tap.
What a gem... I expected only Struise beers here (not that there would be anything wrong with that per se), but I found dozens of beers from many respected craft breweries including Dark Horse, Prairie, Fantôme, BrewDog, De Molen, Het Uiltje, Alvinne and so on... I could spend a whole afternoon here. Apart from buying bottles, you can also taste them at the premises, in the company of other beer enthusiast of all age and preference. Only downside, perhaps, are the high prices. Bart, the guy behind the counter, has an extensive knowledge of craft beer culture, and it shows. Why did I never make it to this place much earlier?
Mostly closed during my time in Bruges but managed to get in once. Only 3 taps and nothing terribly exciting but was told they will be expanding and have up to 10 taps. Now stocking guest bottles and got some absolute bargains whilst there. Unfortunately the exciting Struise beers were out of my price range.
Strange little shop this. Nice place for sure, but rather sparse shelves held about 8 Struise beers plus a few quite average random Belgian extras. And the Struise beers weren’t a lot more varied than what I found in other Bruges beer shops (at least the better ones). A good idea, more could be made of this...
Toute petite boutique où l’on peut trouver plusieurs produits intéressants de Struise. Service sympathique et efficace. Certaines bouteilles sont très chères (Black Albert) mais le reste est très abordable. On peut même déguster quelques produits sur place.
