Had a little beergeek moment looking around the store, which is pretty small actually. Got some nice vintages I haven’t had yet. Tried a beyond wonderful "Cuvée Delphine" from bottle. Service was excellent and we met the owner of De Kelk there. Prices are on the hefty side, but you get a lot bang for your buck with these delicious beers. It’s too bad there isn’t that much room to sit and comfortably enjoy your beer.

A good spot to get some Struise. The selection is solid and the value is pretty good as well. Mostly just bottles but they had a few beers on draft during my visit. Very friendly staff. The central location makes visiting this place pretty easy. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in Brugge.

Visited in 2011. Very small place but very nice selection of Struise beer. Very friendly staff that we ended up talking allot too. His family showed up and we all drank beer together. Me and my family only intended to buy a few bottles but ended up buying a mixed case each. The prices where a bit high and Struise beer is actually cheaper in the big bottle shops around Ghent (Hop Duvel for instance).

I have seen some unfair reviews here saying it is expensive. It isn’t. It’s in a high rent area and the prices between this and the brewery itself are marginal. This is the real shit folks you got to pay for it. I received wonderful service from Bart and had a nice chat with American guests. Just a shame more Belgians don’t visit what they have! It should be a first stop for anyone in Bruge.

A concept store in really really downtown Brugges. They have three beers on tap to drink while you chat/browse and they promise to have 10 beers from the brewery on sale. They had a decent selection of stuff when I was there, but no black damnation which is what I was looking for. Service was friendly. The prices were high, and the selection I feel could have been better. Worth a stop in if you’re in Brugge, but don’t expect too much.

How much for a beer? There’s expensive and then there’s Struise. If you want beer to take away go to Bierboom.

In the centre. The newest struise beers avaliable. Quite expensive. 50 metres from de garre and a hundred from cambrinus.

David was behind the counter and pretty casual. If you aren't assertive he won't greet you or bother you. I don't consider this a bad attribute, as browsers aren't scared away.
I had "The Imperialist", which was a crisp, hoppy Blonde/Trippel. A little thin, but delicious nonetheless.
Out of the cooler came the Tsjeeses Reserva (Porto Barrel Aged) - much more my style - a full quad.
I met an Italian couple that owned a beer store, a Brazilian, a Greek and some hardcore locals in about 1 hour.
David has a collection of nearly 14,000 beers at his home. If you don't appreciate the modest selection at the store - maybe you could bribe him for a visit.

I found the service a bit shitty and the selection was about 12 beers. The location is awesome right beside the Basilica of Holy Blood but I was disappointed...saw no shirts or glassware

Little shop with stuff on the shelves, 3 taps, cold beers to drink in. Lots of good Struise stuff, taps were very interesting. Definitely worth a stop, though I wouldn’t rank it as a pilgrimage site. Would go weekly if it was in my neighborhood, though.
