Nice public student bar. Only bottled beers but a very large number of them. They have world calls beer from US, belgium and Denmark. Check out there happy hour, then the prices are lower than in shops! Some of the staff knows about beer.
Update June 2016: Added 6 taps since my last visit about a year ago, just macro beers tho, Tuborg and the like. Bottle selection is still good. Cosy brickwalls studentbar with a good selection of bottles ranging from cheap Danish macros to some of the best Danish, American etc micros. Some lambics aswell, wich is rare for a bar in Århus. Nice and friendly service, good prices, especially doing happy hour saturdays 20-21 Where prices are below shop prices. Can get crowded
What a student bar - if it had excited at my university - I probably wouldn’t have finished studying ;-) Around 150 different bottled beer - everything from mainstream lagers to the newest imports from the US, and wild fermented beers like Cantillon Lou Pepe - though nothing new for me. The decoration is much more like a student bar with raw brick walls, wooden tables, and somewhat worn classic Danish designer chairs on a stone floor. Table football available if you want to do more than just enjoy a beer. The service had a hard time finding the beers I wanted, but the prices are very reasonable.
They have a good selection of world class American beers along with a small but good selection of lambics. They have lots of more common beers as well for those who prefer that. Friendly staff. Can get somewhat crowded.
The best place for thirsty students (who are not on a budget!). A wonderful selection of really great beers! Westy 12 readily available on the cards, special openings for easter and Christmas with speciality beers. Quite cozy place, though it is small and can get rather crowded.
They have a special "Ølentusiaster" menu which gives you access to a wide selection of rare foreign beers (Alesmith, Founders, Hair of The Dog, Port Brewing, Great Divide,Westvleteren, Dark Horse, ...) do. They also have a wide selection of Mikkeller beers. No beers on tap.
Visited during a conference lunch break. Bottle selection is good, taps are boring. Service was friendly. Surrounded by coffee drinking college girls I had a beer... Prices are ok, but this place is probably not worth the walk up-hill from the places in the city-center.
