Typical Belgian pub, very conveniently located near downtown in hip Capitol Hill. One of those places that years ago, was really at the top of the game, but has since been surpassed by more modern approaches and concepts. It remains very solid and fairly authentic, relatively small and cozy, but quite reasonably priced as well. I did not eat. I’d come back if in the area, but would not call it a Seattle essential except for Belgium-focused beer nerds,

Great little place in Capitol Hill. The draught selection is small, but very well-selected. Bottle selection is larger with some special rarities - you pay the price though. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Prices are fair. Highly recommended to stop at this place when in the area.

Yeah this joint has a tiny selection, of amazing things, poured from a kegerator. it’s small, dark and mysterious. Go with a few people and in one round you have tried everything, which is pretty pricy. Intimate. Not worthy of a return trip.

Excellent beer at impossibly affordable prices. Have tried several things here that I’ve never noticed elsewhere in Seattle. Casks on Thursdays. Be sure to note the specific glassware drawn next to each tap selection on the chalkboard.

A dive like bar in an interesting location. Quite and intimate, not alot of seating and a very sparse staff. Go for the beer, and if you like Belgium styles you will not regret it. Very nice selection of European styles with some nice surprises like HOD on tap. I would recommend going after dark and a few drinks to finish an evening.

Went there late, on a Sunday in August. Dim lit and not crowded at all, which are both a plus for me as I went with a few friends to talk and have a few. Excellent tap selection of Belgian-styles.

More or less a dive bar with an excellent selection of reasonably priced Belgian brews on draft and in bottles. Definitely one of the best bars in Seattle to idle away a rainy afternoon with friends drinking top notch brews while playing board games.

I visited this place very quickly. They have a small beer selection, but the beers are solid, and crazy cheap. I had a glass of Russian River Supplication, and it was only $6.50. This place is very poorly lit, and very quiet. The bathroom is dingy, but the service was good enough. Wish I had more time in Seattle, because I would have liked to hit it up again and spend more time there.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place and I was already expecting something pretty decent. The ambiance is about what I imagined: dimly lit, hip beer drinkers, trendy music. Very comfortable inside. The selection was impressive. While not vast, it’s not just run of the mill Belgian stuff. They had a few sours and a few rarer things along with the typical high quality Belgians one could expect from such a place. I was blown away by the prices. They only carry beers that most other places are charging $7-$9 for, but most everything was $6 or $7 for a proper pour. I’ve never seen Duchesse de Borgougne for $6 anywhere before, let alone in an expensive city like Seattle. This is a great place to come enjoy a beer.
