I agree with most of the comments already posted. As of November 2014 rumours they will start brewing here soon!

30ís style council estate pub with a decent sized beer garden.
Place is a little rough around the edges, a definate locals local but the vibe was OK.
Hopback tied house in London serving 3 or 4 of their beers with Entire Stout having replaced Guinness as is the Hopback way.
Not really one to go our of the way for.
Accessible by the Northern line between South Wimbledon and Colliers Wood stations.

A Hop Back pub located off the beaten track in a residential area in Merton. The interior is clean and the style circa 1980, but pleasant enough. There is also a nice walled garden, perfect for a hot summerís eve. The staff were very friendly on my visit. They had 9 hand pumps serving 5 ales, 4 from Hop Back and one from Downton. Beer condition is spot-on and the price was exceptional - £1.25 for a half. They have a decent selection of both bottled Hop Back and Downton as well. Nelson Wines is nearby, why not visit both?

Nice place - unassuming and simply decorated in neutral tones. A nice bit of Hopback on tap, nestled in deepest Colliers Wood. Not a massive selection, but an interesting choice in Youngs-territory.

Quiet suburban boozer run by some friendly folks but not really my style. Yellow walls and lights turned WAY up. Looking pretty dated. My stout was good but my mateís Summer Lightning was pretty average. Good to see a place to get some Hop Back action but I doubt Iíd bother again.

A very pleasant, backstreet local, serving HOP BACK ales, Stout, Summer Lightning, GFB plus seasonals and at least one guest usually from the Downton Brewery. Ales are in consistently good condition. No food normally available apart from crisps, nuts etc. Dogs welcome. Credit and Debit cards accepted. Smoking permitted in the beer garden, which hosts occasional summer barbecues, usually around Aug/Sept. Friendly staff. Last visited on 24/06/09 when I enjoyed the GFB and stout. Pub decor fairly traditional, with a wooden curved bar, and cosy carpet and lighting. Any recorded music played is at a very low volume. Recommended.
