Stopped by here in late October ’11 on a weekend trip to see Oregon play Colorado. The place is amazing. Hundreds of bombers, singles, imports, locals - you name it - they’ve got it. Have about four or five cooler doors dedicated to nothing but singles - mix and match six packs at various prices and they are quite a bargain. I walked out of there with at least 15 and my bill was barely $20. All the major west coast brewers are represented here. Friendly staff - even showed me how to save money by buying two more beers to round out one of the sixers and actually pay less. If in the Boulder area - worth the short drive down here.

As a foreigner you get amazed by the size of this store, it packs enough alcohol to get the entire population of CO liqoured up. There is cooler space with beer almost as far eye can see, 15 meter (?) of this space is stocked with real beer, the rest is filled with the kind of stuff I am embarrassed to be seen holding in my hand. The majority of the micros are regional. The store could easily improve their selection for mix and match sixpacks, as well as speciality beers.

There’s a pretty decent selection of bombers and a great mixer sixer selection but overall, there’s plenty of better stores to hit in the Boulder-Denver area.

Another typical, grocery-store sized CO liquor store, with the ambiance and location to match that theme - right off the highway 36, so it has that going for it - a bunch of wall coolers full of beer, but a great deal of them are crammed with suitcases of macro crap - the selection of craft and imports is respectable, and they have a few Cantillon’s, which is always a bonus - they also carry some of the Medovina Mead, which, surprisingly, not all that many area liquor stores do - the unfortunate part is that there are many other stores close by with larger selections (Total Beverage in Westminster, Liquor Barn in Boulder, etc.) so unless you live close by, or happen to be in the area, this is probably not worth a stop for you - however, this can be said of a lot of decent stores - they can’t all be "destination" stores.

Nice big store, with good prices. For a store this size the beer selection is kind of plain. Not weorth the drive if you are looking to find the rare brews.

Superior Liquor has a decent selection of micros and imports, as well as a singles and bombers of some of the more common stuff (Colorado brews, DFH, etc.), but what really stands out is their keg room and keg prices. You can walk in the cooler and check out all the kegs they have available, which is usually a relatively good selection. The prices are pretty good, especially for crappy beer if you are having a keggar. $20 for a half-keg? Count me in. If the keg prices weren’t so cheap I probably would not g there often, though, especially with stores like Liquor Max and Wilburs being closer.

Very large liquor store with the focus being on wine and then liquor and finally beer. The beer is located in wall coolers that occupy 1/2 of the interior wall space. Most of the stuff you can find in the cooler in cases. Selection is slanted towards US micros with a few Germans and Belgians, although not near the selection of Liquor Mart in Boulder. However, they did have Avery Meph when most others had run out. That part is current as of this rating and is subject to change rapidly.

Somewhat limited singles in the coolers, but not too bad. Rare that you will find anything different, but I think this is the only place I’ve ever seen that Roy’s beer from Mehana (though I don’t think there’s any left now). Maybe worth a stop if it’s convenient for you, but if you’re already going to Wilburs, Liquor Max, Liquor Mart, Total Beverage, or Davidsons...well...there’s not much point.

A big store in a WalMart, Target, Applebees suburban strip mall area... a huge store but most of that is wine... beer is in the wall coolers, but their selection isn’t nearly as good as Liquor Mart in Boulder.... however, they do have some bottles that Liquor Mart does not, so it’s worth stopping in to find a couple of items.
