The place sits way back in the Renaissance faire grounds, itís a little walk from the parking lot to get down there. The bar area is a converted porch that is covered and heated and was comfortable even on a cold evening, there is also an interior dining room.
I was there on a Friday evening and it was empty, so the wait staff was not busy but attended to us quickly. I did not order any food, they beers are all ok, mostly brewed to style.
I was not very impressed but I would go back, it would be a great place for a quiet dinner, it is not a noisy pub or bar atmosphere.

Iíll give it another try if I ever go back. This first visit was terrible. Most of the beers were not available and the service was quite rude

The brewpub is inside the renaissance faire grounds with plenty of places around the different festivities to fill up. You can get beer in a plastic cup or pay for a ceramic mug, das boot or a pint glass. 22oz bottles are available at the entrance buildings which was cool. Your at the faire so the ambiance is awesome nothing like walking around with a big turkey leg and a beer watching a joust, live music, human chess match, etc. while being called me lord. Itís like 5-6 bucks a pint so its about average and the beers (they had 5 different kinds on tap) are average and do the job. All an all you canít go wrong in my humble opinion.

Had 6 beers on, on the grounds of the faire, it is a small but good looking patio type space. Didnít eat here, but the beers are all top notch stuff.

At the PA Rennaisance Fair. This place is in a pastoral setting. The service was prompt, but they only have 4 beers. What they do have is very good. Worth visiting if you attend the Fair. The pizza up the hill was delicious, and the Old Peg Leg Stout was world class.
