Iíve tried many of them but this is probably the best Systembolaget in Stockholm for buying beer, with loads of international beer and a decent selection of scandinavian craft beer. Found some great stuff like Ballast Point Sculpin IPA, Flying Dog Gonzo, or nice Swedish craft beer like Electric Nurse or Oppigards. Unfortunately the biggest section in every Systembolaget is the lager beer section, which I donít care much for. Staff is always helpful and the prices are reasonable for scandinavian standards.

Visited September 2012 with womencantsail, chinoskillzian, and vsxsv.
We walked to half a dozen of these places while taking a walking tour of Stockholm. This is the best of the locations we visited. Our tour guide, Viktor, went through the selection of pale lagers and told us which we hadnít purchased already at another Systembolaget and which ones were most popular with the bums. I was a little worried that someone might notice that I had a backpack full of cans from other stops but it wasnít an issue. They also carry better beers, tons of Brew Dog, some Belgians, and some US beers, but we were there mostly to collect cheap northern European lagers. We stuck to beers that were 10 SEK or less. Oh, and they can order you just about anything you want but you have to pay socialist prices for it.

SAQ type atmosphere mostly wine as usual at Systemolaget, I guess hey want people to be "classy" drunks or something. I came twice both times closed, I was like wtf? You close at 3pm?! So in that sense the service & atmosphere suffer, the selection from what I could see online seems to be the best in the country. Prices are the same at all Systembogalets which is to say pricey for Americans but coming from Japan pretty reasonable.

Larger than itís nearby sibling and with more beers on show. However most of the increase in selection was down to lagers - joy. Did manage to pick up 4 new beers here. But these Swedish state outlets seem like poor cousins to the Norwegian ones.

Deifinitely the best place to buy beer in northern scandinavia (Denmark not included). The selection isnít super huge, but it changes constantly. The prices are a bit high in continental standards, but low for a northern european country. Super friendly staff (if you speak swedish and/or english). Clean and tidy. I stop by once or twice a month, and there hasnít been once that I havenít found something good, new, to sample.

The best of the Swedish monopoly. Decent selection from all over the world with pretty reasonable prices, especially for Sweden.
