Excellent new addition to the Antwerp beer scene. A proper cafe with excellent friendly service and a superb choice of beer. Highly recommended, unlike that other new place.

Really nice cafe with great beers, Houblon and the Struise Brouwers.

Besides Kulminator, this is the place to go in Antwerp - with a good selection of draft beer, an excellent bottle menu and with a great variety of lambics. The bar is fairly small but cozy and with a knowledgeable and friendly staff, providing a much quicker service than what is common in Belgium.

Fun little spot. Great bottle selection and tap list with rotating Struise? Hell, yes! Kind service and sleepy atmosphere. Yummy beer and cheese to boot. I’d hang out here all the time.

In my view, Antwerp now has two world-class beer specialist cafés: the one that starts with a K, and this one. Narrow bar with a few tables out front, a handful of interesting drafts among 11 taps, and a well-chosen list of 240+ bottles. Simple snacks like cheese and sausage. Friendly folks who know their stuff. Girardin draft lambic, plus a fine selection of lambics in bottles. Taps on my visit included Saison Dupont Dry-Hopping, St. Bernardus Tokyo, and a rotating Struise beer. Handy location near the Cathedral and other action. Dried hops, tasteful lighting, and breweriana.

One of the first places I visited after my arrival in Antwerp. Looks like it’s located in the middle of a very touristy area, but not many tourists here (especially indoors), which is nice. Always one Struise on tap, although for quite a high price (this time Tjeeses Reserva). In my opinion, the atmosphere here is nice and peaceful. The service was very friendly. The selection was better than most other places in Antwerp, but not mindblowing. I will definitely go here again, especially because I heard rumours Black Albert would visit the tap soon.

Great pub. Old rustic place with good beer selection. If the weather is nice you can sit out on a nice square.

Good service, nice choise of beers, a lot og Gueze’s and Pannepot from tap (only one in Antwerp) and dead centre of the old city !
