Visited twice on a Friday afternoon/evening. The bar ambiance/crown seems to be a lot younger than the two others main bars of Antwerp (Oud Arsenaal and Kulminator). It wasnít crowded when we visited and there was plenty of seating available. Service was made by Dylan (kraddel) who works than and was pretty good. The owner let us open a couple of our own bottles there and that was much appreciated. Selection is really interesting with a couple of lambics of tap as well as Struise Cuvťe Delphine and Rodenbach Foederbier. The bottles selection was interesting too and included Hommage b2 and a couple of other good lambics. Prices are very reasonable too, especially considering how close this place is from Antwerp Center. Very good beer bar that seems to be on the rise (compare to Kulminator who seems to be on the decline). I will visit again for sure if Iím in the area.

Surprised by the selection, some real gems available. Bartender knows his beers and willing to share knowledge. Lots of beer fans present, not too many tourist. Good. Will return.

Small but excellent, should be a tourist trap going by location, but isnít. How do you argue with somewhere with Pannepot on tap?

This place is awesome. Lots of really interesting taps and of course bottles, but the taps really do it for me. Pleasant place to sit, friendly and helpful service.

Very nice place in the city center of Antwerp and it keeps improving! Lambic, Rodenbach foederbeer and Struise from tap! Very interesting beer menu with changing beers. Also a lot of internationals available. Decent prices. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A place for the normal beer drinker and the beer geek!

We (me & Loz) visited here on Friday 7th February 2014. This is a great addition to the Antwerp beer scene that has cropped up since I was last here approxí 3-4 years ago. It is close to Gollem and has another couple of neighbouring bars close by also. The beer choice was excellent and prices seemed fine, I had a Emilisse BA Balsamico Loz had Orval (rather predictably :-) ) The place is long, thin and the bar runs much of the way down the left hand side as you enter, there are a couple of window tables and a few further tables beyond the bar in a small area at the rear of the pub. The beer list is impressive and you can imagine that this will be popular with beer geeks in a similar way that the Kulminator is. Kradel was serving whilst were there and aside from a smattering of others he hadnít got a great deal to do as it was early and therefore fairly quiet. Liked this place and will definately return to when next in Antwerp.

Great place! visited once, but quite shortly. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice selection with a rotating Struise tap and even some Cantillon wants! Hope to visit again soon!

Great place for everyone, including the beer geeks. Big and interesting choice with also more and more foreign beers. Knowledgeable and very friendly staff. A place where you keep coming back... and Iím sure itís getting better day by day.

Good selection of beer, mostly Belgian as could be expected. Unassuming from the outside, but nice and cosy inside. Good service, decent prices.

Visited October 2012.

This was the first stop of the Antwerpen bar hopping tour on our only day in the city. I knew nothing about this town aside from Kulminator but Iím glad that I was introduced to this place as well as a few other gems in my short stay there. From the outside itís very unassuming. Inside there are some fridges with a bunch of bottles and there are another dozen or so taps to pick from. Itís relatively dark in the day time and the only lighting really was coming from the outside. Ití was kind of a hideout. We ended up sitting next to another American who was waiting for a train while he drank a beer from a horn. Naturally we went for the ticks but some of them were good. They had some young lambic on cask which was my first experience with that in Belgium. The server was very nice to us. That may be because of who our tour guide was but Iím not going to hold my opinion of her country against her since she was nice. I would definitely come back if/when in Antwerp. Prices were about average.
