Great place! visited once, but quite shortly. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice selection with a rotating Struise tap and even some Cantillon wants! Hope to visit again soon!

Great place for everyone, including the beer geeks. Big and interesting choice with also more and more foreign beers. Knowledgeable and very friendly staff. A place where you keep coming back... and I’m sure it’s getting better day by day.

Good selection of beer, mostly Belgian as could be expected. Unassuming from the outside, but nice and cosy inside. Good service, decent prices.

Visited October 2012.

This was the first stop of the Antwerpen bar hopping tour on our only day in the city. I knew nothing about this town aside from Kulminator but I’m glad that I was introduced to this place as well as a few other gems in my short stay there. From the outside it’s very unassuming. Inside there are some fridges with a bunch of bottles and there are another dozen or so taps to pick from. It’s relatively dark in the day time and the only lighting really was coming from the outside. It’ was kind of a hideout. We ended up sitting next to another American who was waiting for a train while he drank a beer from a horn. Naturally we went for the ticks but some of them were good. They had some young lambic on cask which was my first experience with that in Belgium. The server was very nice to us. That may be because of who our tour guide was but I’m not going to hold my opinion of her country against her since she was nice. I would definitely come back if/when in Antwerp. Prices were about average.

This place is great. I had visited the Kulminator a few times, but never ’t Antwaerps Bierhuyske and I must say I’m glad I finally took the time to have a beer in this pub. Friday evening, so the atmosphere was really good. Crowded, but not too much. Service was very good. Dylan and the bar owner (sorry, forgot his name) are two really friendly people, who know there beers and know how you should treat their customers. Selection is nice, with a few hidden gems. Prices depend a little on the beer, but overall those are good. Overall, great place, will visit again.

Decent bar, with a good selection, and some of the harder to find brews. Love to see some of DSB and De Molen. Good atmosphere, but when thirsty, and only 3 people inside, it should be nice to be ordered some quicker. Wanted a second drink, but couldn’t wait anymore, so on to another place. But afterall, this one is something to do again, and maybe even add some points to the score. EDIT: Get to lower the score a bit. Getting complaints in PM that the service is that great, and I’m "wrong"... But the second time I got there it was even worse... Leave the laptop alone when people are in the bar... should be a nice start to see when people wants another drink. Edit: And again, very slow service, we even stood up after about 15 minutes and left the place without a drink... Some great beers for sure, but the personel can be so much better! The 4th time we got ordered quick enough the first time, but again way to slow the second. At least some improvement with the girl instead of the boy...

Great selection of bottled beers and some gems on tap if you’re lucky. They had Struise Black Damnation Blackberry Alpert on when we visited. Very friendly nd helpful staff. The owner pulled out a rarity from Orval from the cellar and gave good recommendations. As did he rest of the staff. Friendly atmosphere and people of all ages, even infants. Good value for money. Recommended.
