Cramped bar with average selection and dreadful service.

Good selection of lambics and other Belgian beers on bottles, a few good taps. Prices are pretty average for the area. The staff seemed to be mostly annoyed by our prescense, but at least we got to buy the beer that we wanted.

The second best bar in Antwerp is also perhaps my favorite because of its proximity to the museums and historic sites. It is an easy stop on the way back from sightseeing. The ambiance feels like a great bar complete with 80s music for a soundtrack. With an entire fridge dedicated to lambics like Boon Vat 44, various 3Fs, and more you wonít be disappointed. If you are in a Trappist mood they also have you covered with three fridges. Literally only a handful of bottles looked unappealing making it hard to choose. There might be slightly cheaper places to drink but not many can beat its combination of price, selection, and location.

The staff wasnít that friendly and the service was a bit off. The selection was really good and it had good prices.

Visited during the Antwerp pub crawl leg of the RBESG 2013. Small traditional bar with an interesting beer selection and some dirt cheap straight lambic (Girardin in this instance). Iíd be more than happy to spend an extended afternoon here.

Decent place in the tourist section of Antwerp. A bit small bar, if you come with a (large) group you wonít be able to sit together. Friendly staff, decent selection.

Located in a very touristy part, but it has quite some locals inside. Always a Struise available from tap and a great lambic selection. Friendly service. Lovely bar.

Stopped by for an afternoon beer. Smallish place right near the center for town. Great service from the bartender. Nice draft selection and tons of bottles. Value seemed very good on draft beer, especially for being in the main tourist area. If you go to Antwerp you must stop by for a beer.

A worthy beer stop on any Antwerp beer visit. Itís a fairly compact beer cafe located centrally with some outside seating. About 10 taps on offer, including one Struise (only Westoek mind you!). There was also some bag-in-box draft lambic. Bottle selection was varied and quite interesting. Although they didnít have much that I hadnít seen before I was more than happy drinking a Moriau gueuze. Coffee wasnít too shabby either. Worth a visit.

Doesnít look like much, but itís actually a pretty nice place. The cramped, dark space is brightened by the friendly service and local banter. Apparently thereís often a nice selection of Struise beers, but we missed out on this occasion. The bottle list is a bit all over the place. Thereís some arcane ticks available alongside the usual Belgian selections. Some good Struise bottles graced the fridges. Value was fine. Overall, Iíll be back when Iím in the area.
