Excellent pub in the middle of the center of town a bit hidden in a side alley. Service is knowledgable and friendly and Daisy is a right character and very friendly. The selection is large and offers many Belgium beers, no international ones though. Food is served but more the snack type which was not tried. Value is fully acceptable as well and overall a great place for meeting and parting and anything in between.

Rather small place with a good atmosphere. A few taps and a rather good bottled beer selection.

Visited October 2012.
We stopped here after wandering around and taking pictures for a bit. I was very pleasantly surprised by both how cozy it was and how nice the service was. Service in Belgium was pretty bad all around but these guys were nice. They also have a pretty good beer list. I was tempted to buy the oaked Straffe Hendrik after I learned aobut it an hour earlier at the brewery but then I saw the price tag of 30 euro... The beer list isn’t quite what we had experienced at Kulminator the day before but it was pretty good. This was also the perfect opportunity to have a Chimay and experience the quaint Belgian pub. They have plenty of beer signs everywhere to let you know where you are. Prices were pretty high on the beer though, which makes sense since Bruges is the Euro Disney for adults. I didn’t want to order any food so I paid no attention to the prices on that. If I find myself in this part of Belgium again I’d probably stop in for another beer.

Classic cafe in Brugge with a nice old school atmosphere. Selection was a bit disappointing.Too many standards. Service was not very friendly but effective. OK but not more.

Simply and exceptional beer bar. The location is great, the ambiance and service are absolutely top notch. The selection could be a bit better but still great. Had some food as well that was definately good.

Guess I forgot to rate this one way back one so take this outdated review with a grain of salt since things may have changed. This was the most homey probably welcoming place we visited while in Belgium (and there were a number of very friendly places). Place was mostly empty after lunch and we had a couple of beers, ended up talking with the having a drink with some locals, and getting a history lesson on Brugge and beer. Overall one of the more unique and wothwhile afternoons spent in a pub.

Benchmark Belgian care. I like others was expecting a larger establishment with an unrivalled bottles list and therefore was a little disappointed. What was unexpected on the plus side was how welcoming it was. I thought it would be filled with beer geeks holding court, but you could not got a more varied collection of punters, locals, tourists and the very famous landlady taking time to explain the selection to a couple of British coach drivers. Not hard to fill but always seems to be a table and so retains an atmosphere.

Still great. Daisy is wonderful, though I went here with a friend of hers, so I suppose my treatment might have been a bit special. Great menu, great vibe, nice people all around. One of the best places in Belgium still.
