Visited here in late February í16 on a busy Saturday night. Sports bar, urban atmosphere, tons of TVs. Huge beer list with plenty of craft selections - many local, regional and national. Well over 100 - both draft and bottle/cans. Huge menu with wings, burgers, burritos, etc. Wait staff is extremely attentive. Good place to catch a game and rack up a few ticks.

Visited mid-afternoon on a Wednesday. Conveniently located about 1 Ĺ blocks from the Midtown MARTA stop. Modern design, bit of a sprawling feel to the interior. There are several levels, first with restaurant table seating, then some bar tables, then the large S shaped bar. Big selection of 100 or so taps and just as many bottles on offer. Nice selection, which is organized cleanly on the beer menu - including a section that nicely highlights the locals (when I visited, there were 26 localish beers on draft). Service was really good, especially considering the flood of people that followed me in. Evidently, the office building / hotel next door had a fire going and the workers had all headed straight to the bar. Fun crowd, fun place.
82 = ★★★Ĺ (Solid place, near the top of the list for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Sports bar with very nice beer selection. Bartenders are friendly and can generally lead you in the right direction. Will give you samples of anything you want to try. Known for their buffalo wings (get with Ranch dressing). A frequent stop for me.
Was excited to go here as I live out of town - surely a bar with 140 beers on tap in a different market than I live in would have SOMETHING I would be interested in that I hadnít had before. However, the selection is just underwhelming. Lots of standard widely distributed non-seasonals. A fair amount of macros/macro imports. Only 1 tripel on the entire list (and they were out of it). Selections from the local breweries were mostly lagers and lighter ales (not entirely Taco Macís fault). Food was good by bar food standards and prices were very reasonable though. Waitress service was good, did not check out the bar.
Itís weird to say that a place with 140 beers on tap doesnít make beer itís top priority. Donít get me wrong, they have a good selection, but the focus is more on watching sports than discussing the aroma and lacing on each beer. That being said, of the metro Taco Macís, the Metropolis location does have the most events that would appeal to the beer geek. If you sign up for the Brewniversity program, you will receive a newsletter that will keep you posted on upcoming cask and meet the brewer events. A few years ago I met Larry Bell of Bellís Brewing.
by far the best Taco Mac for beer... this location has the rarest stuff and frequently pours aged kegs as well (like a 3yr old Bigfoot!). otherwise, its a Taco Mac - same food and tvs as the others.... but much better beer selection. As with all TMís, the prices can be too high on higher gravity beers. And the glassware does not match the beer sometimes... they pour by cost per keg, not style.
