I spent every afternoon and evening in this bar everyday for 9 days. The bartenders were great at suggestions as well as keeping the free samples flowing. This is also where I was introduced to what would become a favorite, but one that I canít get in OK, Sweetwater 420.

A typical Taco Mac, but still a nice place to visit. Interior is rather dark to encourage a cozy atmosphere. TVs abound, but when I was there they were off; background music was at an acceptable level. Food is good, as at all Taco Macs. Beer selection emphasizes craft brews and locals. Servers are alert and helpful, and make you feel welcome. Worth a visit if youíre downtown.

sterile, dark, loud, corporate. full of unenthusiastic staff. 130 beers on tap but few things of interest. some terrapins, sweetwater, smuttynose, stone, etc. the frosted glasses they used during my visit in 2010 were gone by the time i came back in 2014. the service has only gotten worse. lazy employee attitude, a lot of the people seemed untrained. friendly but inept. a few more GA breweries represented on the tap list in 2014 given the number that have opened in those 4 years. would prefer this tap selection somewhere else in town. I probably wonít go back again even when working across the street.

A typical convention type restaurant, but a nice selection of beers. Seems focused on ales. Good selection of Sweetwater and Terraping. Other breweries are limited to mostly single offerings. However, given itís location next to the convention center itís nice to have a good beer selection. Food was OK, chips and salsa along with veggie quesadillas. Prices are pretty good given the location.

Pretty cool place. Lots of selection on Tap and the bottles are reasonably priced. Didnít have any food while i was there but it looked good. A place to hit if you are in downtown Atlanta.

Philips Arena kicks ass and a beer bar inside is one reason why. You canít take the beer to your seat but there is enough between-period time to sip on a pint. Good selection similar to the other Taco Macs.

I presume this isnít much different than any other Taco Mac, except fewer kids and itís in the arena. You can come in here for a beer during the game but you canít take the beer back to your seat with you. Boo!
