Visited here in late October í15. Much more of a cozy atmosphere than other Taco Macs. Have about two dozen on tap - mostly regional craft; about 100 or so bottles. Friendly, prompt service, plenty of TVs to watch sports, Parking is a challenge - had to find something on a side street 0 but you are almost in downtown Atlanta, so what do you expect. Decent food - like most Taco Macs. Give íem a try if in the area.

Cozy ambiance is different from most Taco Macs - it has the feel of a true neighborhood bar. It is a little cramped, but that adds to the intimate atmosphere. Servers are quick, friendly and efficient. Food is typical Taco Mac - as in better than average bar food. The salmon burger is very tasty, as well as healthful. Parking is the only problem, but this is worthy of a visit.

The original location of the chain located in the middle of the Virginia Highlands neighborhood not far from downtown. The charming thing about the place is also the biggest criticism:Itís the size of a shoebox so getting a seat or a table is never a sure thing. They donít have as many taps or bottles as other locations because where the hell are you going to put them. They have a ton of BMC stuff and imported macros but they also have some regional micros as well stuff like Ommegang. For food ignore the name, this is not the place for Mexican food. (The sign was a hold over from the previous business.) This is the place that brought Buffalo Wings to Hotlanta and theyíre usually pretty solid. The prices are what youíd expect which is to say really high. And parking sucks. Still when itís not crowded it has a great vibe, the perfect place to watch an afternoon Braves game.

Wow, the original Taco Mac. This doesnít aberrate from any other Taco Mac. The only two things you need to know about this place is that the beer menu is a lot smaller than other Taco Macs, and you have to deal with the Virginia Highlands yuppies. Fuck, I hate the Virginia Highlands yuppies. Coming here during the weekend and at night is a disaster, if you want to find a seat in the establishment. Come here more in the afternoon and things should be a lot more chill. The food is the same here as every other Taco Mac. As already stated, the beer menu is severely lacking here. You might find a couple of "gems" here, but donít be surprised if you donít. The one key thing here is that the service tends to be "better" than other Taco Macs. Take the aforementioned statement however you want, but know this, Taco Macís extremely attractive waitresses canít serve for shit!

This is the original Taco Mac and probably the smallest. Basically just a bar with a couple booths and some high top tables with chairs, as well as some seating at the bar. There are plenty of TVs to see the game or whatever is on. I ordered the chicken fingers and my wife ordered a burrito. Both of our food was decent, and their salsa has a very nice kick to it. The beer seemed a tad expensive with most bottles and beers on tap over 4.50, but Im not sure if this is normal in the Atlanta area as I am a recent transplant to the area. The waitstaff was very nice. Overall a pretty decent place I cant wait to try one of their restaurants with more beers available on tap.
