2015-08-31. Arrived shortly after work for a guys night out. They have a decent range of styles on tap, but aside from a new rating for me the tap list was a bit disappointing (e.g. Lots of okay, but not amazing Ontario craft beer on.) The list of cans is fairly lengthy, and again included a few new ratings of smaller Ontario microbreweries that see limited distribution which was neat. Over the course of the evening I had beers from Junction, Mackinnon Brothers, and Great Lakes. I ordered the Koreatown burger which includes kimchi on it. I was unadventurous and asked for half kimchi. It was pretty tasty, decent bun, toppings were nice. The two four oz patties seemed like a better idea on paper - Iíd personally like them flattened out a bit more and less puck like. They were tasty regardless. The side salad was also delicious, but the dressing was oily enough that it sort of undermined my efforts at trying to be a little bit healthy! :) Two bartenders on tonight were super friendly, seeming to embody the "indie chick" and "sports chick" stereotypes. Decor is pretty simple and no frills for the most part. The bar is relatively small with some window seats up front, two TVs and a large screen that came down for the Blue Jays game. It was relatively quite early then got very busy after around 7:00, and the servers struggled a bit to keep up. Overall good food, good beer, Bloor subway proximity and good service makes it a nice stop. Prices are "Toronto reasonable". Good spot to watch a game.

This place has a bit of a gimmick in that most of their beer is in 471 ml cans. The focus is on Ontario made craft brewed beer. There is a rotating series of tap brews again focusing on Ontario product. Friendly folks behind the bar. They keep a $5 rotating pint from one of the taps most times (always nice to see). Itís an unusual spot, but itís quite nice.
