I visited on their last day open of 2013 so they were crazy busy. The selection is great, I think if you go here you’re looking at the width & breadth of basically all you can commercially find in Japan. They had a scattering of stuff I hadn’t seen before but most I’d seen on Rakuten/online. About 2 fridges of Italian Craft when I went, 4 of Belgians(seriously about half their stock), the rest a grab bag of the US & the rest of the world. Small open fridge of Japanese craft beer. Their main fridges are PACKED and it is really hard getting bottles out of them-everyone does so exceedingly carefully for fear of knocking some down and breaking them. Prices are average(some beers higher than I’ve seen others lower), service was subpar. The atmosphere here was kind of snobbish, I get the feel they prefer their cognac/whiskey/bourbon customers. Not at all welcoming & aside from the older guy I assume is the owner not even that knowledgeable about beer, they didn’t know about lots of breweries I asked about. While chatting with my friend I think the owner overheard my complaints so when we left we suddenly got much friendlier service. I would have bought more but honestly the service turned me off so I decided to buy those other bottles online. After the great things I’d heard about this shop I was expecting much more. For Japan, it is the best you’ll find in terms of selection (Asahiya in Osaka blows them out of the water in terms of service-it isn’t even close) but compared to a good place in the US or Europe it is lacking.

Great shop that I could and did spend too much time and money in. Although the local stuff is underrepresented, they have a stellar import selection to rival many American bottle shops. Prices were reasonable and service was only limited by language. A must.

Nice place, large selection from around the world, in addition to interesting local stuff. Glassware too. A bit pricey, but worth a look.

The main beer geek shop in Tokyo. They focus on importing the best of international craft beers, rare items and glassware. Even though, they mostly seem to focus on major crafts such as Stone, Mikkeller, Brewdog and Belgian abbaye brews, they also have some other geeky breweries as well as some rare large bottles in limited quantity. Their Japanese selection is surprisingly poor and badly presented in a corner though. Prices are steep but not shocking for Tokyo, and that’s the price for finding your favorite wishlist items.

Great bottle shop, carrying some really good beers, some of which are pretty hard to find by any standards, let alone in Japan. Downside is the terrible selection of Japanese craft beer. Having had some awesome beers in Japan, there’s no excuse. Certainly worth a trip if you live in Japan and want to stock up your cellar.

Best liquor store for beer in Japan, though a little lacking in Japanese micros. Staff is pretty good, but can feel a bit cold even if they’re not. Gave me a discount once when my total added up to 11,111.

A great bottle shop with a very impressive bottle list. The staff was amazing as they even bubble wrapped each of my bottles so I could secure it in my luggage. My only critique would be to carry more Japanese beer. Massive liquor selection as well!!

I really like this place, one of my favorite places to visit. Could spend 3 or 4 hundred dollars here easily. Check it out

A beautiful liquor store found downstairs that has a warm, cellar feel. A great beer selection no doubt, mostly from fan favourite breweries stateside and Europe. Not many Japanese beers in store, though I did pick up a few canned micros to quench the thirst with all that walking around the city. Quality beers here, not to mention all the other booze. Nice glassware selection as well, but pricey.

What an amazing place. Loads of choice and a good variety from all over the world. Glassware too. Prices are pretty good for Japan. I could have spent a lot of money here, and intend to over the course of the next few years. Like people have said, the selection of Japanese micros is a little small, but there is still plenty to choose from. And yes, the store looks lovely too. Very pleased to have somewhere like this not too far from my place.
