Just a few blocks down from St. Augustine’s, I hadn’t visited until recently. Modern, trendy bar / restaurant. Decent taplist that’s listed on the outside of the building in the back, which is helpful. Staff is friendly and prices are okay. Didn’t eat her, but the menu looked good including a couple of vegetarian / vegan options. Not a must-hit beer-wise, but it’s a nice place.

An uber trendy music driven cafe that specializes in breakfast. Comfortable in that hip relaxed kinda way, but not my vibe at all. Nice big windows and a patio, this is one of the few places in town that has European beers and styles on tap. If you want La Trappe on tap, it’s here. Service was ok and they do a beer flight as well. Brother of the owner own Dagerrad brewing and you will find his beers here frequently. A nice place, I am just not cool enough to appreciate it.

Nice bar situated on the Drive; the bar is walled on 3 sides, so relatively dark; it’s just 2 blocks from St.Augustine, this could be good or bad for them; there is a patio, nice in the summer, but the traffic on the Drive is noisy, as well as the bar just opposite playing loud Caribbean music, and this adds to the own pop music, the result is cacophonic; got here at 11pm saturday night, warm spring evening, i was a bit surprised to find the place empty; they have about 14 craft beer on tap, nothing amazing, but they are mostly local; the bar also has a special connection with the brewery Dageraad, so expect to find some of their beers.

Small bistro with a small tap list, mostly Belgian-oriented stuff. A reliable source for Dageraad, as there is a family connection. Food was ok, and I appreciated the well-chosen beer list. The more dedicated beer geek will note that it’s only about two blocks to St. Augustine’s.

Small but good selection of craft taps, with some rotating taps. Great Malaysian curry.
