Great location, good selection of both draft and bottled beer. Excellent food and service. Worth mentioning Stone Vertical Epic from 08.08.08 and on is available.

(Visited 05/2013): Taphouse is located in downtown Hampton on Queens Way (near Old Town Lane) not too far off I-64. Street parking throughout the area.
The interior opens into the ground floor bar, which has some table seating and a bar running along the left side which offers a view of the taps. Dark painted walls and wood throughout, and a chalkboard listing the beers. Upstairs offers more seating as well as a small stage.
There are nearly 40 beers on draught at Taphouse including regional brews like St. George. Other domestic craft brewers like Uinta, Stone, and Dogfish Head. Imports like Unibroue and St. Bernardus. Over 100 bottles as well including some rarer stuff like past Vertical Epics. There was a Duck Rabbit keep-the-glass night during my visit too.
Service on a weekday evening in the dining area was good. Our server was familiar with the beer menu and attentive throughout the meal.
Food at Taphouse is pretty good. My colleague and I enjoyed our meatloaf dinners.
Overall this is a cool tavern in the quaint Hampton area.

Enjoyed a nice business dinner here. Great selection of taps; we didnít even try the bottle list. Great food at great prices. Server was nice but horribly forgetful. I would definitely recommend it for food and drinks.

Great selection, good food. Lots of local brews and a wide variety of styles. Went there for lunch, so no live entertainment while i was there, but they have a pretty nice stage set up upstairs.

I actually prefer this location to the one in Ghent. Less hipsters, equally good food and beer.

Great little place! About 25-30 taps plus 100 bottles or so. Great selection of local, American micro, and good exports. Food is very good and pretty cheap! Had the fish tacos, wish were made with swordfish tonight, lots of swordfish, for only $13. Definitely recommend this place.

Nice place that had a some good local beers and some bigger national craft beers on tap. Owned by the same people that own the Taphouse in Ghent, the bar had the same charm. Nice people and very low and reasonable prices.

While there arenít many, this is far and away the best pub in Hampton. The service is always friendly and helpful. The food is always top notch with daily specials and the beer selection is great. The Taphouse is equipped with numerous taps and a wide selection of bottles. The place is a bit small, but that lends itself to making new friends quickly.
