Great beer selection. Sports Bar atmosphere.
I didnít like the scene at all but it is a large spacious restaurant with decent food and a good looking tap list. Some of the pours seemed over-priced but others were totally reasonable.
Staff was friendly and relatively attentive.
I guess it lacked character for me and with the amount of choice in NYC..well you know..
Stopped in as I bar hopped my way downtown. Nice clean space kinda a little corporaty feel. Lots of taps including beers from 14 different NY breweries which was cool. Bartender was unknowledgable but friendly. Lots of tvs so good spot to watch a game for sure.
A big crowded sports bar with a pretty nice tap list. Several regional favorites, big micro favorites, and a handful of local options as well. Attentive service and average prices. If youíre trying to watch a game and drink good beer, this is a good place to do it.
Sports bar atmosphere with a few decent taps. Mostly locals but a few beers from out of state you donít see everyday. Decent beer selection. Food looked good, but I didnít eat, so I canít comment on that.
Went here with a few RB folks after a tasting. Granted it was a Saturday night but his placed was packed. Lots of TVs showing sports. Setup of the bar/restaurant was not that great. Pretty decent selection of beers on tap and draft with a few unusual offerings, and the food was fairly good. Serivce was a little slow but thatís probably because it was so packed. Prices are normal for Manhattan. Normally I avoid places that are this packed but I enjoyed myself due to good company.
Typical sports bar with an enormous selection of mostly underwhelming beers. Sometimes youíll find a couple gems. This place is fairly out of the way on the normal Manhattan track, so itís probably not worth a stop unless you are eating dinner at Blue Smoke, which you probably shouldnít be doing anymore since theyíve gone fiercely down hill in the past couple years.
It would have been a standard sports bar a few years ago but now it is a "taproom" with a few dozen solid but pretty uninteresting taps. It is the usual selection of the top distributors big sellers and whatever the rep pushed on them. The IPAs were fresh. The service was very fast and friendly. The price at $7 for a standard IPA was a bit steep but more or less normal for NYC. The place is loud, brightly lit, and filled with young manhattan professionals donning the business casual well into the night.
