Used to be a crappy italian restaurant in this locale. Nice buildout, long bar & main room. TV’s are ok. Prices OK, haven’t sampled the food. Has potential

Sports bar atmosphere with a few decent taps. Mostly locals but a few beers from out of state you don’t see everyday. Decent beer selection. Food looked good, but I didn’t eat, so I can’t comment on that.

Went here with a few RB folks after a tasting. Granted it was a Saturday night but his placed was packed. Lots of TVs showing sports. Setup of the bar/restaurant was not that great. Pretty decent selection of beers on tap and draft with a few unusual offerings, and the food was fairly good. Serivce was a little slow but that’s probably because it was so packed. Prices are normal for Manhattan. Normally I avoid places that are this packed but I enjoyed myself due to good company.

Typical sports bar with an enormous selection of mostly underwhelming beers. Sometimes you’ll find a couple gems. This place is fairly out of the way on the normal Manhattan track, so it’s probably not worth a stop unless you are eating dinner at Blue Smoke, which you probably shouldn’t be doing anymore since they’ve gone fiercely down hill in the past couple years.

It would have been a standard sports bar a few years ago but now it is a "taproom" with a few dozen solid but pretty uninteresting taps. It is the usual selection of the top distributors big sellers and whatever the rep pushed on them. The IPAs were fresh. The service was very fast and friendly. The price at $7 for a standard IPA was a bit steep but more or less normal for NYC. The place is loud, brightly lit, and filled with young manhattan professionals donning the business casual well into the night.

Large, clean and very friendly. Service was polite and accommodating. Solid beer list with over 40 taps. You can order samplers. Food was good not great. Solid spot!

A nice enough place, seemed fairly similar to Ginger Man and Rattle ’n Hum. Maybe with the decor of the former and the atmosphere of the latter. The two girls behind the bar were friendly enough. Good selection and decent prices.

Stopped in here during the early afternoon for a quick beer and something to eat en route to meet up with people for some New Years activities. Nice taplist, and updated regularly. Nice selection of beers that seemed to take into account that many beer geeks will often bring their non beer geek friends, who then feel overwhelmed. But there’s certainly enough to keep all but the most jaded beer geeks happy. Food menu was simple but with a few nice touches to keep it interesting. Ended up getting a couple of appetizers and a few beers. Service was quick and friendly. I’d stop in here again.

Nice atmosphere... looks similar to Rattle but a bit more spacious. Food is good, beer selection is solid... Evil Twin, Still Water, etc. Staff is very friendly. Great spot I’ll be back.

I’ve been here 3 times so far. I’ve never really personally encountered the staff, but they’ve been pleasant from what I’ve gathered. The taplist is always changing with some nice options: Stone, CCB, Founders, Mikkeller, that whole crew. Lots of seating area.

This place opened in early 2011, and it appears to be doing well. On a Wednesday night, there was a good crowd, with a fair number of young professionals and attractive ladies, a garrulous beer rep, and even a possible celebrity sighting. The look of the place is a little "quality suburban" - burnished wood and light fixtures, but I liked the ambience overall. There is a long bar and ample table room. I didn’t try the food yet. There was a solid bottle selection and 40 good taps to choose from, including a brewery special. The servers were friendly and fast, but did not seem to be beer experts - no matter. Move over rover - there is another fine craft beer bar in NYC.
