Good place in a very nice district of Istanbul. Try 2nd floor at sunset time. Beers were quite good for my taste (considering itís Turkey and not Bavaria ;-))

After dragging my arse for an eternity as public transport sucks in the area, I arrived hot, thirsty and ready for a beer. I was very unimpressed to learn that there was only the Marzen, Kolsch and Smoked available. I started with the Marzen and nearly spat it out. It seems there was something wrong with the tap so I moved on to the Kolsch only to hear that, actually, they didnít have the Kolsch after all. I ordered and finally drank a proper Taps beer in the form of the Smoked Lager. After he basically begged me to stay and not wanting more of their stuff, I asked for a Brewdog Punk IPA only to hear that none had been put in the fridge so it was hot. I begrudged the bill and left. I can see why the different locations are closing down. Not impressed.

Small place a long way north of Taksim. Beers were OK, definitely a welcome change from Efes. Not sure that itís worth the effort, though. Istanbul sure could use a decent beer place.

The location is in a very nice high end neighborhood about 20 mins north of Taksim (central Istanbul), with a very nice view of the Bosporus. The place was almost empty when we visited. They had smoked lager, hefe weissen and dark lager on tap when we visited, I didnít get any info on any bottled versions of their brews. The price was decent for a micro brew but the quality of the brews were quite disappointing, both were kinda sour which I guess is signs of an early stage infection. Still, way better than the stuff youíre served all over Istanbul. Iíd recommend taking the trip just to experience a micro brewery in Istanbul.

Small and pleasant place quite far from center even if you take a cab. Very nice view of Bosphorus bridge and small harbor across. Letís say quite annoying music (some sort of oriental house). Pretty crowded inside, overpriced but ok beers.

Very nice, small beer bar in the middle of Bosphorus in Istanbul. Sports/fashion bar theme on two floors with 4 LCDs at each floor. Only 4 TAPS beers on the tap and 4 TAPS bottled beers in the manu. However two taps each to be used directly by the customers on 3 tall bar tables is quite a novelty. The taps on the tables have their own counters and you pay after you drink as much as you want, without bothering with the waiters. Excellent food menu and the great Bosphorus view are the added values. Pilsener, Vienna Lager, Hefeweizen and Marzen on taps, on the day I visited.
