Note: Mainly beers are same than in their head brew pub in Lahti, but Kamppi has occasionally own special brews.

A playboy- lounge / jazzy modern bar-restaurant in the middle of Helsinki that serves their own brand of brews. Some find it annoyingly clean and stylish, but I think it’s quite comfortable (if you’re able to score a couch) and enjpyable. Right near the Kamppi shopping center, so it draws a crown easily. The food is better than your average bar, and they have music events every so often. The beer is a bit expensive, even in Helsinki- standards, but it is the only place where you can find a good selection of their own brews.

A bit too sleek and steril for my taste and there’s no selection to speak of outside their own products. Then again, their own products are quite good compared to most Finnish stuff.

Great ambiance if you can actually get seated somewhere and like the jazzy lounge setting. Service is great to the tables and the waiters are nice though the bartenders tend to be a bit standoffish if you ask for something that’s not on. Which brings us to the selection. It’s just their beers which is not surprising, considering it’s a brewpub. However when the selection is a pale lager, a dunkel, another dunkel and a couple of weizens, it gets a little bit boring. I hear they’ve added some new ones nowadays and they do have seasonals, but this was during wintertime and nothing properly dark and roasty was on. Tends to be a bit on the pricey side.

Visited end of July, 2011. Possibly to get their beers in 25 cl versions, this day they had 6 different brews from their own. Also tried their own whisky. Nice place, centrally located, good service. Also had a toast, which was huge.

Centrally located large brewpub with a smallish outside patio where you can watch the pedestrian world go by. Their own beers are OK, and they have two of their own very sweet but refreshing ciders. Pleasant place.

Nice but crowded place. They have their own beers. It’s OK to have a beer if you are in the zone.
