54 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 10/20 villevav (67) , Finland | June 9, 2011| Updated July 18, 2011 Teerenpeli is perhaps better known for its central location, nice patio and ciders than the quality of its beers. I find the place a bit sterile for my taste. | 60 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 11/20 Rune (319) Tromsø, Norway | February 10, 2011| Updated July 18, 2011 Popular brewpub, easy to spot near the main entrance to the Kamppi shopping centre. Early on a Thursday evening the place was crowded, and it was difficult to find a table. Rather spacious divided into different levels and sections. To sum up my impression; attentive service, good bar food (warm tapas), satisfying beers (a sample of four, each 250ml), ok atmosphere and horrible music (visited 03.02.2011). | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 10/20 SirLimpsalot (23) , Sweden | November 2, 2010| Updated July 18, 2011 Nice place, central location.
Tried their cider, nice and refreshing. | 62 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 11/20 gyllenbock (105) Stockholm, Sweden | July 16, 2010| Updated July 18, 2011 Visited in July 2010.
A modern and quite nice place with a friendly staff. Very central location.
Descent beers and ciders from Teerenpeli. A sampler did cost 13 EUR with four samples. (4*0,2cl) | 66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 Marko (188) Split, Croatia | April 5, 2010| Updated April 23, 2010 After no luck with both Perhon Panimo and Bruuveri which both didn’t work on Easter Monday, we ran into this by pure chance (I forgot to note it down on my map). Yay! There’s such a huge density of places a 5 minutes walk from Kamppi in all directions... Anyway, a nice modern brewpub with a wide selection of their own beers. At this time they had Onnenpekka, Laiskajaakko, Hullujussi, Hippaheikki, Vauhtiveikko, Sauhusanttu and Talon Olut (a new dark ale). Took a sampler of the last four, all were quite nice for their respective styles.... There was also a kalja (Karjala?), their 3 ciders (draught?) and some other stuff bottled too. All in all, well worth visiting. The only thing that irked me really was them proclaiming that the sampler costed 10 or 10.5 Euros in a large font and only saying that you’ll pay 13 (for service? taxes?) in much smaller print. I realized that after ordering it yay. And I had to carry the sampler back to the table myself, but it’s like that all over the country so no reason to whine :). Another plus, however is the free WiFi (yay again, to end on a cheerier note) | 60 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 11/20 rosenbergh (334) Helsinki, Finland | February 9, 2010| Updated April 23, 2010 Tap selection is mostly Teerenpeli beers and ciders. Quite popular place and therefore pretty crowded. Nice patio in summer. | 64 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 Russo (30) Campinas, Brazil | January 15, 2010| Updated April 23, 2010 Well, Matti, Fatphil and Anna guide me to there. I have enjoyed a lot, I could ask some beer and Fatphil got another, so just ting the bell, I ask for the samplers, now we start to talk same language. Beer language! I could recommend the place, is quite nice ambiance and I think at summer should better. :)
Thanks guy for this! | 66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 SaintMatty (147) Uppsala, Sweden | August 2, 2008| Updated April 23, 2010 A fairly comfy and cosy place with friendly service and a fairly relaxing atmosphere (I visited in the afternoon) too. Teerenpeli’s own beers and ciders on tap. The beers are reasonable and this place is worth a visit. | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20 spporras (21) , Finland | June 26, 2008| Updated April 23, 2010 Teerenpeli Kamppi, which is located next to Kamppi shopping mall, has been a pub since 2006 and brewpub since May 2008 when the first house beer Leuhkalasse (bitter) was introduced. The concept is the same as with, now already retired, Teerenpeli Kaisaniemi: one house beer is brewed at the site and the rest of the house beers come from Teerenpeli main brewery in Lahti. Teerenpeli brews available in June 2008 were Onnenpekka (pale lager), Laiskajaakko (dark lager), Kesähessu (pale ale) and Vauhtiveikko (weizenbier). Also, 3 Teerenpeli ciders were on tap. The service is very friendly (based on many visits) but the place looks a bit sterile to me. Anyway, due to the excellent location it is easy to pop in for a beer or two. | 64 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 liinis (26) Helsinki, Finland | April 24, 2008| Updated April 23, 2010 Very nice and welcoming place. It’s new, clean and has well separated sections. The toasts are very big and good, but unfortunately the price has gone up. Good music usually. |
