Itís a sweet set-up here. The brewery can be seen through the floor to ceiling high glass. Modern fitout in the front bar with a few benches to sit at. Thereís also upstairs seating which I assume is reserved for groups. Temple are brewing sound beers right now, and a tasty range available. Normally quiet in the evenings which is surprising given itís location just off Lygon St. Thereís a kitchen which can be seen from the bar. Menu is comfort food driven but Iím yet to try the food.

Nice. Much better than I thought too. You donít come here for the beer and I suspect most punters wouldnít come close to a beer nerd classification. VG range of food, well priced, plenty of nibbling medium-sized dishes. Wonderful beer ígardení out the front was full. 8 beers on tap and a guest cider. Beers are solid, well made, although not ícrazyí. Could be a different story in winter but an enjoyable visit.

Temple brewing is worth a visit if you are in the Brunswick/Carlton area but is probably not worth going out of your way for. The four beers I tried (of the five local brews + 2 guest taps) were all good without being great and the ambiance was fine but bordering on the bland. I didnít try any food but it looked and sounded ok. All in all Iím glad I paid a visit but will probably hold off visiting again for a couple of years.
