Huge selection in coolers and on the shelves. They have a buy 6, get the 7th for a nickle. Even at that the prices are on the high side, but the selection is worth it.

I used to visit this place every time I’d go to Pizza Port but now it’s more like once a year.

Plenty of beers available including some lesser hyped locals and of course the popular stuff that everyone wants. The owner knows a fair amount about beer so just ask if you’re looking for something. Over all the store is very small but in the small area they’ve managed to squeeze a lot of stuff in.

My only complaint is that the pricing has gone steadily upwards in the last couple years, not that it was ever "cheap" to begin with.

Just up the street from Pizza Port. Not a huge store, but quite the large selection. Unlike a lot of places, beer really seems to dominate. Huge selection of local San Diego beers as well as stuff from all over the state and world. Prices are on the high side here, though.

This place is a 5/10 minute walk from Pizza Port, so if you are in the area why not? An impressive selection of 500+ bottles awaits! Beer pretty much takes up half of this fairly sizeable liquor store. Most beers are bombers. Comprehensive selection of California and US, with a few gems like Alpine. European selection is also solid with harder to get stuff like LoverBeer sours. Prices were definitely on the high side in comparison to other places I visited in California. Even though the selection was massive I didn’t see too many beers that I couldn’t have got elsewhere. Still well worth a visit if you are in the area.

underated bottle store. Great selection of the locals, their complete line, and harder to get Califormia beers. Priced at the going rate, with hours much more convenient than the Pizza Port bottle shop.

The buy 10 and get the 11th and 12th for 10 cents is a great deal. Right next to pizza port carlsbad this is a must stop. The best beer selection in San Diego hands down.

Over-priced but they have a very good selection of SD and other CA brews. they have a weird buy 6 abd get a 7th for a nickel but at their prices...it ends up being close to the PP Bottle Shop.

I was impressed with the variety of beers/ liquor for such a small space. The buyer does a good job of getting great product in the store. That being said the prices are a little steep but what do you expect for a store on village drive. I will keep coming back.

Visited later in the evening. Service was prompt and very friendly. The beer is laid out in one long aisle, racks on one side, coolers on the other. The selection was pretty great, and the prices were very fair. I found 12 or so bottles pretty much right away, and would have bought a ton more if it wasn’t for our friends at the TSA. If you are just going to bottle shop, I would recommend this place over the Pizza Port bottle shop due to selection and price. If you want to hang out a bit, PP is a better option, of course. I believe I receive a free bottle based on a case purchase.
