I was impressed with the variety of beers/ liquor for such a small space. The buyer does a good job of getting great product in the store. That being said the prices are a little steep but what do you expect for a store on village drive. I will keep coming back.

Visited later in the evening. Service was prompt and very friendly. The beer is laid out in one long aisle, racks on one side, coolers on the other. The selection was pretty great, and the prices were very fair. I found 12 or so bottles pretty much right away, and would have bought a ton more if it wasnít for our friends at the TSA. If you are just going to bottle shop, I would recommend this place over the Pizza Port bottle shop due to selection and price. If you want to hang out a bit, PP is a better option, of course. I believe I receive a free bottle based on a case purchase.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Just down the street from Pizza Port Carlsbad. Easy parking lot out front. Surprisingly large selection of beers. Good ones too. Saw a bunch of Bourbon Barrel Top Sail, which I havenít seen around too often. Employees seemed nice, but not extremely knowledgeable. Pricing seemed decent as well. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Beer selection is really thorough. Maybe if youíve had A LOT of different beers it might not be good enough but for me it was fine. Some of the prices were on the high end but they also have sales on really good stuff they are just trying to clear out. Good place to visit in terms of convenience for coastal north county SD.

Texas Liquor has the 2nd best selection in North County Coastal area. It is open during the day, which the PP bottle shop is not. The selection is good, and the prices are very reasonable. This is especially true if you buy a decent amount of beer. As we all know, craft beers arenít ever the cheapest. Texas usually has deals posted that give you discounts on your 7th 22oz bomber or your 11th & 12th 22oz bomber. If youíre resourceful, you can put together a nice craft brew package. The service is available, but not overly insightful. There is always plenty of parking since it is adjacent to the Albertsons. I always recommend stopping in on your way to PP, especially if youíre buying more than just a few bottles.

Pretty good place. Nice selection of beer, good quantity, maybe a few rarities here and there. They have some nice deals, but they can also be pretty $$. The staff is not very knowledgable, but if your on ratebeer you should be able to figure it out yourself. Definitely worth checking out.

This place has a pretty respectable selection of brews and a somewhat knowledgeable staff. The prices are a kick to the pants though.

What I thought would be a little store with one cooler of local beers turned out to have a pretty solid selection. About 7 coolers stocked with some really nice beers and a few other shelves. The staff was nice and pointed out the new beer arrivals.

I stopped by during RBSG. This does not look like much on the outside, but they have an entire aisle (very narrrow) dedicated to beer. I think the selection is outstanding, and they carry lots of the west coast beers. Too bad my suitcase was not larger, because I would have walked out with much more. Regional offerings from Deschutes, Port/Lost Abbey, Alesmith, Green Flash, Bruery, Ballast Point, Firestone Walker, etc. in addition to imports. Prices are a tad on the high side (I can get stone cheaper in TN!), but I have seen worse. Worth a visit in addition to the Pizza Port shop.
