Excellent range or beers from Ireland, lots of stuff I’d not tracked down, stored both at room temperature and in fridges. Theres perhaps the widest range of Belgian beers in Ireland, with plenty of interesting BA offerings from de struisse and beers from further afield too. Opinionated but knowledgable owner Anton will be happy to advise.

Pretty amazing to find an eclectic bottle shop in this neck of the woods stocking this many beers, with so mant unusual and interesting choices. if I was a cork resident I would be here, or upstairs in the bar, more than once a week.

A fantastic selection of beers in the shop and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Just recently got a couple of rare Belgian beers and picked up a couple of nice glasses too. This place is always a must visit for me when I am in Cork, highly reccommended!!

Large selection of beers. Purchased a Galway Bay, and a Westvleteren Blonde. Great local Irish selection. Had some beers that I would consider "tough to get", but keep in mind I’m from the U.S. So, a lot of this is tough for me to get. The employee I talked to was great! Very soft spoken gent, but as I asked questions, he began helping me more and giving advice. By the time I left, I was happy that I had talked with him. I would recommend stopping in!

The best selection in any off-licence in Cork, if not Ireland. Huge range of bottles, from Ireland, UK, US, Belgium, Germany and others too. So long as your not looking for something as rare as hen’s teeth, there’s a decent chance you’ll find it in here. Great bargain bins as well, where you can pick up terrific beer that’s just past its sell-by date for as little as €0.70 a bottle (I just picked up 12 bottles of Brooklyn Lager and 4 bottles of Oyster Stout for just over a tenner!). Only drawback is that service can leave a lot to be desired with the guys in there regularly enough having a grumpy day and not being the most helpful - that said, if you catch them on a good day, they’d be happy to answer any questions you have. Overall, a great shop and my usual shop for any craft beers of any nature.

One of the best off-licenses in Ireland with regards to selection available.

I didn’t go upstairs to the actual bar for some reason; but used the beershop twice over my weekend stop over in Cork. They stock over 290 different beers, that is a huge amount for a beer shop in Ireland I believe. The whole Weihenstephaner range was available, including the Vitus, a host of other German brews, Belgian, US and British too. A bit light on Irish beers, but to be honest, there aren’t too many to stock. Large glass fronted fridges held some beers the rest on shelves, plenty of lagers/pilsners to choose from if that’s your bag. I’d have been lost without this place, my nightcaps alone in the hotel being a semi-highlight of my stay.

Great selection of domestic and imports, with some pleasant surprises (lambic!). Very happy, and also happy with the pub upstairs.

Visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon in May, this was by far the best beer selection we found in almost two weeks of touring around Ireland. Excellent selection, most of it seems to be in good shape, except maybe some of the clear British brews that looked a little dusty. Very friendly helpful staff kitted us out with a box or two of some really great finds. Absolutely worth visiting, go here for your beer buying! Nothing compared to it in Dublin.
