My first venue in Japan. Entrance is on the 3rd floor of what seems to be a residential building. Coming from Europe this was quite unusual to me. Alongside Charlieís bar in Copenhagen this is probably the best traditional pub Iíve seen outside of UK. Wooden interior, lots of records behind the bar, good music. Decent draught selection, some not so interesting UK ales, couple of UK ciders, Guinness, Jever. More interesting were 10 Japanese crafts (2 casks) alongside 2 US beers. Service was good. Nice place, worth visiting.

Nice little British pub around the corner from Good Beer Faucets and Mikkeller Tokyo. Prices were fair enough for a pint. A few house beers and some beers from brewers like Baird that you can only drink here. Non-smoking. English speaking staff and menu. Not bad.

Definitely my favourite Pub in Shibuya, Good range of beers available with a range of guest beers (5-7) available at any one time. Staff have always been helpful and knowledgeable and are pretty quick too. Small place that will either be really quiet or really busy. Hard to pick when. Food is good pub fare with Vegetarian options (Which is rare in Tokyo). If you are worried about your Japanese ability, English is not an issue here.

British pub hidden on the 3rd floor of a building in the very heart of shibuya. Surprisingly extensive tap list with quite a few local micro seasonals. Prices are average for the area but certainly not cheap. Would probably only go for a late drink as it is the only place I know opened past midnight in this area.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I am a Brit so donít particularly want to hang around in British pubs in Tokyo. It does however have a decent selection of beer at decent enough prices. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good be a good place to go if you donít speak any Japanese. The fact that they have vegetarian food is a bonus for me, but I guess maybe not for many. Maybe itís because I am British, but I really didnít find the chalkboards as funny as others seem to have done. All in all though, a nice place to go, and I will be back there, but probably not that often.

An English style pub, but with Japanese microbrewed beers, and some special house beers. Decent enough.

Decent pub in bustlin Shibuya. Spot the British flag and its on the third floor. A couple of beers are brewed for the pub on hand pump. Solid tap list but unsure how often beers rotate. Eccentric bartender/owner? who appears to have quite the remarkable vinyl collection, so expect to hear some obscure and unique records playing. Food available but didnít eat. Standard Tokyo prices.

Found this place using the íBeer in Japaní app. I wasnít overly impressed by their choice of regular taps, but the guest beers were all great. They have two cask pumps and the Sangt Gallen London Calling Real Ale was impressive. The food is typical bland British Pub food. The washroom signs are hilarious.

I really liked the very British feeling here. DJ was playing AC/DC from vinyl and even the Japanese bartender kind of looked like a British person. There was also some British humour written on chalkboard. Selection of some taps and casks including Aldgateís own ale brewed by Swan Lake (why it is Algate Ale and not Aldgate?) Standard Tokyo prices and nice staff, once again.

To find it, just look for the flag of Britain and take stairs up under it.

Very authentic cosy Pommy pub / inn. Actually done very well when you sit back and assess it. Punters seemed to be all tourists / expats but regardless pretty quite for 7pm on a Thursday night. Taps number about 20 and the geek interest is clearly in the guests (Rogue, Green Flash) and the house beers brewed by the likes of Swan Lake and Baird. Canít comment on the food but read appropriately (ie bog standard pub classics). English speaking staff and beers well poured. All in all wasnít blown away but very good for this part of the world.
