Excellent spot, in a part of town that ainít perfect.. which is good to knock the pleasantville vibe. Bricks, beer and dark. Good list, decent food, fair price, great tap list of BC beers.

Finally made it here. Really great atmosphere, food was ok, service was pretty good. The menu is a little strange because it tells you what beer they will have next on a few kegs, which doesnt really help you right now. A few casks. Great spot.

Such a great bar to get your drink on in Vancouver. I came here all but one day during my Vancouver stay. A great introduction to BC brews with a solid array of styles on tap. I sat at the bar each time and with great conversation with staff, locals and travellers alike, itís a good place to be. The food is pretty damn good for what it is, though I just stuck with the bar menu - good burger. Staff were great and even when busy made sure I grabbed a spot at the bar. Itíd be rude not to pay a visit to AR.

Love this place, absolutely great beer selection and also had some ciders mixed in there too. This place is a no brainer if in the Vancouver area.

I went on a Sunday afternoon, so the only food available was Brunch. However, I didnít go for food, I went for beer, and I wasnít disappointed. Quite an impressive list of local and regional beers.

Nice place, but crowded and noisy. Friendly staff, but occasionally mixed up drink orders. Tap selection is very nice - all west coast beers, I believe - and constantly rotating from the looks of it. Had a tasty sandwich there. Food and drinks a little pricey but overall fair. I would be happy coming here over and over again when in Vancouver.

Visited in February 2013. Long communal tables. Food, beer and service were awesome. Would definitely go back

Great beer bar. Love the view of passing trains behind the bar. Nice music, great list of changing beer with lots of BC stuff as well as the U.S. west coast including some smaller American breweries. Samples flights of 4 go for $11, so a little more expensive than St. Augustineís. Friendly, knowledgeable bartenders. Food smelled good but didnít indulge.

VancouverÔŅĹs most beery bar we visited in Mar.2012, amazing choice and quality was good. Styles to suit all tastes, and I got my hop buzz with several of the beers! A must visit in Vancouver. Unfortunately the night of our visit both hand pumps were out of use. But at least they make the effort.
