I love this place! Over 200 different labels from all over the world. A good mix of people and lifestyles with an emphasis on jazz and blues. Staff is friendly and the food is pretty good. They just went non-smoking even though Utah indoor smoking act dosnít go into effect ítil 2009.

The selection is the best I have seen since I move to Utah the food and wait staff are excellent. Get there early if you are going on a friday or saturday night because most of salt lake will try to cram their way in.

Located in a brick building with limited parking on the side. Foods going for a New Orleans theme but is fairly bland. I had the Etoufee and there was way too much rice. The reason to come here is the incredible beer list. You could go a year and not see a Cantillon on the list and they had 4 at prices that were pretty reasonable all things considering. They also had over 300 other bottle options many of which you canít find in the local liquor stores. The had 30 taps of mainly Utah beer. Of course the states draft laws constraint hem. The service was pretty good considering how bus the place gets. If you come to the SLC you have to come here.

Best beer selection in the state... Staff is knowledgeable about beer, and theyíre generally on the ball--even when the place gets pretty damned busy (happens a lot). Really good food. Nice place.

Recommended by a college friend, this bar met expectations. New Orleans styled food with seemingly every 4.0% Utah beer on draft. Hundreds of bottles as well. Food was good, service was OK, but slow. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great selection of beer. This place has an awesome menu of local, regional, seasonal and world beer. The food ranges from average to really good depending on what you get. Typical pub fare with some great souther hits. The place has a nice ambiance. Old brick building with a nice bar. I would recommend hitting this place up. Itís nice to see such a great beer menu in Salt Lake.

Great place. Beer selection is excellent for the area, and they were not out of any of my selections, as so many other "great" beer menu places have been. Food is a varied selection of fresh and tasty stuff; bartender is very knowledgeable. This is a good restaurant and pub that is trying to be a great beer destination , and is succeeding.

Saturday evening, place was busy, not packed. Great service from the bartenders-- some old guy got shot down for complaining about the 4% Hooegarden-- chuckled w/ the bartender. Ended up talking with and yelling at the Olympics with 5 guys around me that weíre very friendly and beer-knowledgable. I drank a large portion and the bill was only 20 something-- think I got comped a beer or two. Iíd go back to SLC just for this bar.

The best part of the Bayou is the Cajun food...itís darn close to the real thing. Add great beer to the mix and the place is a welcome destination for any thirsty and hungry beer lover. Iím very impressed how the Bayou can have such a good selection and deserves support from beer lovers.

Probably the best bar in SLC. They have a number of tap offerings (around 30), of course all of these are 4%, including some macros and then draughts from the local breweries (Squatters, Wasatch, Desert Edge, Hoppers, Red Rock, etc). Then a massive bottle list, which was exciting to me as a traveler as it featured about 20 Epic beers. Also a lot of Mikkeller, Boulevard, Deschutes, Full Sail, Jolly Pumpkin, and more. When you have 300+ bottles in stock, selection is clearly not the problem as there are plenty of local, domestic, and international options. Their food is Cajun-inspired, obviously. I just got a white pizza and it was ok, perhaps not one of their better offerings. Overall, had a great time here and the selection is hard to beat here in Utah.
