Small bottle shop with lots of fridges, a bunch of taps, and a good vibe. Nice place to spend a few hours.

well-managed beer store. couple of taps, couple of tables, a teevee for watching things... and then coolers of beer. good selection but not as expansive as belmont station. low-light and good temp for the bottles. I like seeing more stores like this crop up.

Pretty much right across the street from APEX. Itís also like around the corner from Pine State Biscuits which is a great place to pick up some breakfast.
A small place with a small tap list but a huge selection of bottles. Unfortunately when we stopped in, they were having a Cismontane event, so every draft beer was from Cismontane. Seriously? I flew 1000 miles away from home only to have that garbage follow me. Anyway, great bottle selection of beers that are largely from Oregon and organized by style. Pretty decent set of imports as well.
Pretty good pricing on everything and the service was pretty friendly. Since you may very well be visiting APEX, you may as well come here too (and itís actually worth it).

It was great to grab a beer whilst browsing the selection. Picked up a bunch of beers - great for farmhouse ales, sours and the like. Just a good vibe. Stones throw from APEX. Excellent.

Is it a grocery store, is it a bar? Itís both and I love it. Tons of bottles line the wall to wall fridges, drink in or take out. Bar is tiny but you are guaranteed to be surrounded by beer lovers. Owner is friendly and always there. Selection is enormous with a few interesting taps to boot. No food, but they do have peanuts.

Visited on Tuesday 6th November around 3pm.
3 or 4 other folks shopping plus ourselves. 8 beers on tap so we had a beer on the go while we shopped.
Good choice with plenty of local OR beers allied to a good choice of US wide craft.
Service was friendly and prompt.

Small cozy interior, part bar and part shop; very clear tap indications, small pours available (4oz), interesting bottles; soft musing makes the experience more pleasant. Very nice place.

Visited before lunch on a Wednesday. Corner shop in a busier part of SE Division Street, very close to APEX Bar. The setup is mostly focused on the beer store, though there are 8 well chosen drafts and a few bar stools and tables to hang out at. The bottle selection was pretty incredible, and the prices on singles were some of the best I saw in Portland.
88 = ★★★★ (best in area, a must for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Small and pretty jammed place across the street from APEX and thus close to many other hot beer spots. In that sense, it is a must-hit if you have more than two days in town. The beer selection is solid, well displayed. Staff seems very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Selection seems a notch below Belmont Station or Johnís Marketplace, but it seems as though turnover would be better than at Johnís. Could not stay for a drink as the bar is 21+.

Pretty good selection of bottles, good variety of different styles. They also have a small bar there. I didnít find anything super exciting but some nice local stuff.
