A decent sized Bishops Arms on one of the main squares in Malmo. Very cosy library area at the back of the bar. Fantastic selection of tap and bottled beers. Friendly service. Usual high Swedish prices. Although this is a prettier bar than the other Bishops Arms in Malmo I prefer the atmosphere in the other one.

Nice place, but very very expensive... Besides the prices, nice place to have a beer. Especially in the back of the bar, you’ll find really comfortable seats. We had the Kaggen Stormaktsporter and the Stormaktsporter, which was a great experience!

Dark pub with dark brown furniture. They have lots of taps. The bottle menu is very big and has a main focus on US beers. One of my bottles had expired long ago (and it also tasted that way), and when I pointed that out to the waitor, he removed it from my bill without any discussion. The burger was really good, but the french fries were very similar to those at McDonalds.

Update feb 2014 - after standing at the bar for 15 minutes holding an empty glass and doing my best to make eye contact with the staff who were determined to look ahead and not make eye contact with anyone.... I picked up the bill and left. This bar used to have chatty helpful staff. They don’t seem to be there any longer and some of those that seem to have replaced them were really not so good at all. The beer selection is still great but if you struggle to get served even on a quiet night there isn’t much point is there. Why don’t the staff just scan the bar every once in a while to see who is waiting before they disappear for 10 minutes? Serving customers is more important than emptying the glass washer! One guy absolutely did see me waiting several times but thought that moving glasses around was more important than a waiting customer. It’s the responsibility of the staff to know who has been waiting longest. That’s part of their job. It’s rather insulting when they serve someone who has just walked in when you have been standing for 15 minutes. It’s disappointing and I hope things improve. Original review I can’t believe I missed this place on my trip to Malmo earlier in the year. The interior is typically wood paneled English and I felt at home right away. They have a few hand pulled Fullers English ales and a wide and impressive selection of other beers on draft. The bottle selection is exceptional. The staff are extremely knowledgable and helpful and the food is reasonably priced for Sweden and extremely tasty. There are two Bishops Arms in Malmo and I think this one edges it over the other one. It’s in the town centre and pretty easy to find.

Despite being newly opened, this place already produces a pretty good atmosphere. The service is very good. The prices are typical Swedish draught insanity, but the selection is quite great and varied, and people from those who just like beer to beer geeks would find something to like or love here. If they can afford it of course :).

When in Malmö I always try to make a visit at this centrally located place. The selection is good, they always seems to have local beers from Scania on tap. During my last visit in November 2014 they had one beer from Brekeriet and one from Remmarlöv on tap. The interior is your typical "Bishops Arms", you know what you get. I like the staff, they are always friendly and know their beers.

Typical Bishops Arms (ie good!). Same decor as usual and a great selection of tap and bottled beers, with some interesting Swedish and Danish micros.

Centrally loated and easy to find. Long English style pub with a long bar on the right hand side and small tables on the left hand side. Sorry but I did not count the taps. A long row of them though. 4 of the with cask ales. The rest a mixture of Swedish, Danish British and American macroes and microes. Few of them boring. The beer menu a fair amount of bottled beers as well. Price level pretty high. Did not test the knowledge of the friendly staff. One of was quite good at speaking Danish. Had some excellent food. Should you like to have some liquor a lot of bottles are available.

Now this was a very nice visit! Excellent service from the staff, a lot of beers on tap and even more on bottle. The 25 SEK tasters they do are great if you want to try a lot of different beers. Nice warmed terrace out the front door, lots of places to sit indoors as well as out. Recommend!

One of the best places in Malmö to go for a beer in my opinion. Always fun stuff on tap, lots of great bottled beer and cool staff. The perfect place for a lunch.
