Probably one of my favorite places in D.C. This has a cool atmosphere which lacks the pretense of some of the other D.C. beer locations and even others on the same street. Has a continually growing tap last it seems, now with something well over 30. Good burgers on Thursday night burger night for $5 - great deal. Try Chimay cheese. Only annoying thing is you have to choose between upstairs and downstairs, which have different tap lists. On a slow night the upstairs bartenders will go down and get stuff from downstairs for you though. Great service. My style of bar.

Solid three floor beer bar in Adams Morgan. The few times Iíve been only two floors have been open. Solid beer list, donít know if you can order different beer between the main and bottom floors but itís not too bad if itís not busy and you donít mind moving floors. Some uncommon and rare beers every now and then. Main floor bar can be cramped when it gets busier, not a whole lot of room with the stools and servers/food runners moving back and forth. Had the poutine and one of their burgers, both tasty though I think the burger made me sick so Iíve stuck to the beer list since.

I didnít have food here, but there beer selection was really nice. One of the longest bars Iíve ever seen. Gets really hip at night, but its a fun spot in Adams Morgan.

I only visited the upstairs bar. Really anonymous ambiance. The crowd seemed pretty typical for the Adams Morgan area. Beers on tap numbered about 20. Decent selection, but nothing was available that you canít buy elsewhere. I had a Nugget Nectar and found it to be in decent condition. The bartender was a bit of a cow. She wasnít in a great mood and was lazily underfilling every beer she poured. Her attitude miraculously improved as she was preparing my bill. The value was in line with other places in DC (itís expensive). Overall, I have no desire to return.

Visited on a Monday night to watch football while in town for work and I was the only customer on a slow night. The bartender was really friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I found this place by using this website and some of the other reviews seem a little harsh. Was reasonably priced and I would definitely go back. They had a better selection then I expected and I think it would be fun to see this place on a busy night.

Went here on a Friday night and it was relatively full of that generic DC white people crowd. The tap-list was passable, but I was hardly excited by it. I mostly just had a couple of DIPAs I have not had yet. The music they played was terrible ("Call me Maybe"), and the awful dance moves of the DC denizens made my feel at best uncomfortable. I only spent my time in the basement in which the ambiance with the exception of the music was fine. However, there are plenty better places to go for beer in DC.

Went to the main-level bar yesterday for a beer after a tour of the Belgian embassy for the EU Open House. Needed a beer after they pushed us through the embassy and we were stuck with Stella rather than the hoped-for Orval.
Walls are red on one side and brick on the other with black wooden tables. Interesting posters on the wall. A few TVs on the wall an plenty more by the bar. Seemed to be a pretty chill place.
Service was good. The bartender knew a decent amount and wasnít too pushy, and was quick with drinks and always noticed when we were running dry. The selection decent but nothing outstanding. Probably around 20 drafts and the same number of bottles. Not an extensive bottle list like other places in the area, and many of the drafts were pretty standard selections.
Didnít have any food. Value was a bit pricey, even for the area. Priced above Churchkey and Paradiso, which is crazy. A nice experience, though I donít think Iíd come back very often unless Iím in need of a beer in Adams Morgan.
