Hit here not too long after it had opened (and I mean as a business not opening time!) on 24/05/12. Was around 4pm so quiet to begin with but trade had picked up by 6.30pm. 2 bars, downstairs - 25 taps from around the US and some European. Upstairs - local PA beers. We were upstairs but they were happy to run folks to the downstairs bar for our beers. Happy hour was on whilst we visited (possibly 3 till 5?). $3 on most (or all) of the local PA beers and some good food deals. Loved the atmosphere here - dark and candlelit no electric light, candlewax dripping everywhere. Had to shine phone torch on beers to review. Great venue.

Good little spot with an above average beer list, main weak point is the A/C, or lack there of, visited in late July

Nice little place...quiet on an early saturday evening. Friendly service...somewhat knowledgeable, a bit slow. Very admirable beer selection and jusg like the other spot (farmers cabinet)...mildly pricey and a super dark and dim atmosphere. They actually have candles in the chandeliers. Biggest problem is little or no AC...its 90+ outside and hot as balls in here! Id visit in the fall or winter.

This place is a cross between a New Orleans whorehouse and a Gothic church, but with picnic tables. Upstairs is even more Gothic, and is larger than the downstairs. Great blues played throughout. Beer list is solid, and thankfully includes some Cabinet offerings. The recommended beer pairings are actually with shots, hence the name. Very easy to stop here before or after hitting Farmers Cabinet, just around the corner.
