This place, I believe it used to be the Blarney Stone, has a great vibe. The service is nice and I always have great conversation with the staff and other patrons. Nice selection of brews (draft and bottle - for stay or take away) and the bartenders tend to know their beer very well. Good knowledge without spewing too much opinion - which is what I like!

So a few revisions from a neighborhood regular. Taps are generally at about 12 (versus eight). Always a 512 on tap, generally a "one off" Southern Star on tap, and always some unique stuff (currently Stone 15th Anniversary Imperial Black IPA).
Here is the best part. Wanna a beer on draft, great. Want it to go, take home a growler (and they are generous about whose growler). Want a bottled in house - yup about 300 of them. Want it to go, same scoop. Take it home in a single, a sixer or more.
Very, very astute knowledgeable staff that not only deals with Beer Geeks like us, but takes the time to introduce newbies to great new beer styles. Highly recommended. Worth the trip, particularly if you are in the area for Strangeways.

Stopped by to pick up a bottle of Wicked Beaver. Nice selection of craft brews to drink there or to go as well as a growler selection. Like all hangouts on Greenville Avenue, the parking sucks!

Went here for the first time a few days ago. They have about a 15 seat bar with and small handful of taps, as well as a ton of bottles that are stored cold in order to be drank on site. They also have a bunch of bottles which are for sale to go. I heard they donít normally serve food, but there was a beer dinner going on the night I was there. They had all three bottled beers from Wicked Beaver Brewing, which to the best of my knowledge, is the first time this beer has been sold to go in the Dallas area.

Interesting little stop across the street from the Libertine bar. I use to live near by, and vaguely remember another liquor store in this spot. Small patio out front, plenty of couches and places to sit inside. Seemed kind of dark for the middle of the day. A few TVs. A long row of room temperature beer bottles/cans/ciders and on the opposite side a long cooler full of chilled beer. Some glassware as well. Also 8 taps (half seemed local). Knowledgeable, but seemingly slightly disgruntled bartender. All bottles are available for on premise consumption, and most (although sadly not all) are available to go (canít take any of the Austin Beer Works cans to go. Prices seemed average. They do growler fills which is also pretty cool. Not a bad new place. Parking was a bit confusing (parking in the back says it is a tow zone expect for the place nextdoor and Beer World or some other place I couldnít find.

Cool vibe, dark wood bar. Walls lined with shelves full of bottles, most of which can be taken home for consumption. Tap selection is usually pretty good and being able to get a growler filled is nice. Prices about average for the area.

Went here the other day to pick up a few growlers. Dead empty in the afternoons. Pretty good selection for Texas as they have many bottle choices in both their dry section and cooler. Staff is friendly and they do growler fills to go.

Interesting little place that is a mix of bar and store. You can buy beer bottles or growlers to go or you can sit and enjoy. Nice leather couches and a bar you can relax in. During my visit I just bought a couple to go bottles but next time I think Iíll sit and have a couple.
