The location was really great. Spacious with tons of room and cool ambiance. All of that, however, was ruined by the mediocre beer and tasteless food. The place is so spread out that it takes forever to get service. Beer was okay at best, but I would probably never go back.

Building itself is a really cool use of a large, old train station building with much of the old building and signage left intact. Size f the building provides ton of seating, but it also makes the place seem somewhat oversized and the waiting staff spends a lot of time running around to tables spread everywhere. Decent number of house beers, but none were that great. A few decent attempts at more experimental styles, but each beer had at least 1 flaw. Food portions were large and well-priced, but weren’t that flavorful. Okay place, but not one that I would return to.

A brewpub located in an old train station in Erie. It is very nice inside - the bar is located in the original main lobby with a nice skylight and beautiful architecture. There are other sections with seating as welll. The beers themselves were mostly mediocre (I tried the IPA, brown ale, and weizenbock). There was a special where you got a good deal on pint glasses. The food was standard pub fare - I got a burger salad which was huge, but decent. Overall, an interesting place to visit but the beers are subpar.

This is an Old train station close many years ago. The city of Erie, PA revitalized the old building and turned it into a brewery. Almost everything was restored to original condition. I wish more towns in America would keep old buildings alive with restoration. Really great décor! I eat a smothered chicken sandwich and it was normal pub fare. Our bartender was nice enough and did chat with us a bit.
The beers are real average and have a tie with Lavery Brewing Company. They also had a decent bottle list focusing on Pennsylvania beers. If you are ever in the area, stop in and take the tour.

The decor and design of this converted train station made the trip worth a stop. Really impressive! The beers were just okay and food was also just okay but it felt like I was stepping back in time.

We had stopped here on our last stop of Tour de NWPA.
A: The place is a refurbished train station, the bar area is small but they have plenty of tables throughout the station.
Q: The beer quality was decent, of our group, no one complained about the in house beers. I had the peanut butter porter and the belgian and they were both decent.
S: Out waitress was very attentive and made some good recommednations, friendly.
S: They offered 9 in house beers that were a wide array of beer, plus another 30 bottles from many PA brewers.
F: Decent, everyone in our group was satisified with their selections.
V: For 6 of us drinkning and eating, the tab was under $25 per person, and that included 2/3 drinks per person.
Overall, Union Station is a nice stop while in Erie, decent beer, decent food, decent place.

Place not hard to find, nice ambiance in what i assume is an old train station, service was okay, as it wasnt that busy, portions seemed somewhat small. The beer was okay, nice that there is a selection of other craft brewerys and a some seasonals as well. Worth checking out at least once if in the area

Big place with not a whole lotta parking on a friday night. 20 minute wait for seating even tho lots of empty tables were available. Greeter was initially a little rude. Bottle shop inside had quite a few bombers but very few singles to make a six pack from. Quite loud. Layout of place is nice; converted train station. Got a 4 0z sample of all 8 house beers for $10. Fish was really good and coleslaw was exceptionally good. Fries were a little soggy but went well with coleslaw. Wife had portabella mushroom wrap and thought it was good. Even tho we asked to be seated away from the band, they put us there anyhow. Was expecting really loud music but it was tolerable. Overall good beer expereince. Waitress at table was much nicer that greeter. Been wanting to try this place for a while now its done!

Nice to a beer menu dedicated to PA. Not too expensive. Great atmosphere and no problems with our service. Burgers are excellent, ground on site.

Pretty good house beers, small but solid PA-centric bottle collection, great bar food. Extremely wallet friendly, especially to this Baltimore/DC native. 100% worth a stop for dinner if you find yourself in Erie.
