Visited on Wednesday 30/04/14 around 10.20pm.
Twin roomed venue about a 10 minute walk from downtown SB.
The place was starting to thin out when I arrived.
Service was prompt and friendly, they about 10 of their own beers on tap, $1.50 for a 4oz sample.
The food menu looked good but Iíd already eaten.
I had 3 beers on my visit, no world beaters, but nothing bad, 3.36 average but I was picking the styles I prefer.
In all an OK place to pick up some ticks but wouldnít be my first port of call on a visit to SB.
There are now a few brew pubs in town but this is our long time favourite place. No fancy decor but the beers range is superb. The food is good too.
Very close to Santa Barbara Amtrak station so you can sit outside drinking waiting for your train to arrive if you have already paid the bar staff.
Nice little brewpub thatís a favorite of the locals. There are usually around 12 house beers on that range from eh to pretty good. Service is solid.
The food menu is amusing to say the least. You can get a hot dog, spaghetti and meatballs or prime rib on any given night. That being said I usually get the burger which is really good.
Quaint street side brewpub with a friendly, neighborhood feel. Appealing asthetics if youíre into that weathered, years of foot traffic appearance. The dining area, the bar area, and patio make up three distinct parts of the brewpub. The brewery can be seen from the bar. The service is average to just above. Beer selection is pretty amazing for Santa Barbara. Decent food selection too. If I lived in Santa Barbara thisíd be my local spot.
Initially the atmosphere in here felt a little hostile (particularly after the welcome we had in the SB Brewery) but after our second pint the staff and some local customers began to chill out! Probably a better selection and I enjoyed the Smoked Porter.
Although not the best beers in the world, I like this place. Close to the beach, a lot of crazy (nice) people, very good food (mussels!!!) and a quite good selection of own beers - all of them ok. Sometimes live music. I try to be here once a year.
A big place with a nice patio right in front of the brewery, we tried lots of their beers and i liked almost every one. The food was good and the night i went there it was all u can eat ribs night!!! i went out after eating all and i was very satisfied!
Nice outdoor patio area which is split into a couple areas. Large indoor dining room and bar area which is also split. Dim lighting and a huge bar. I took a seat next to the taps at the end of the bar. Place was sort of empty, but it was a Monday night. Bartender was more than happy to oblige my request to try all 15 house beers. She was also able to answer all my questions without problem. The beers were actually pretty good and for 15 four ounce tasters, $22 isnít bad at all. I didnít eat anything, but the guy next to me ordered what looked like a pretty good steak. I really liked this place, actually.
