A good sized bar with a good looking food menu and a nice feel. A narrow building that has two tiers, the bar in the bottom area and additional seating above. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. Plenty of taps and bottles with all taps available in sample sizes. I did not try the food on my visit and prices were fine. A really nice bar right in downtown.

Stopped here on my on downtime during RBSG. Glad I did... Loved the ambiance and the bar. Great, lengthly tap selection, and everything was available as single tasters for a reasonable price. Bartender was very accommodating and patient (and pretty cute & charming..). I had some kind of grilled cheese and bacon sandwich, which was fantastic, very satisfying, and reasonably priced. Was pretty impressed with this place overall... One of the better beer bars Iíve been to.

Met up with Homer321 and the brothers Nielsen here before heading to Busch Stadium for the baseball game.
A gem in STL. They have 50 something taps, lots of which are local gems. Nice brick and wood interior. Sort of dimly lit, a bit more upscale. Pleasant wait staff, too.
Prices for the most part were fair. Very easy to access location in the heart of the downtown area. Walkable from the ball park and many other beer spots (as well as being one of the closer beer locations to the RBSG hotel).

This place is known for more than beer, so I know itís a little unfair to rate it just on one aspect. The ambiance was good but too snooty for a beer in St. Louis. We sat outside, the server was very nice, but not knowledgeable about beer or particularly fast. Took forever to get a drink. The selection was not as good as I thought it would be. Lots of beers, not a lot of unique ones. The food is expensive and overly fancy. Maybe Iím just a St. Louis hoosier, but I want wings or nachos with beer, not a cheese plate or charcuterie, whatever the hell that is. Value was not great, but I was expecting that. Worth a visit, but personally, I would much rather go to International Tap House Soulard.

Nice bar. Close to the Omni. Good selection of local drafts and some bottles. Prices on bottles were a touch high, but drafts were reasonable. Worth a visit.

Very nice and trendy bar with a downstairs and upstairs. Very long and nice taproom downstairs. Service was very good, although beer knowledge was not imparted, they did know what they had. Selection was a great choice of locals with many out of state and a large bottle selection. They serve 4oz pours. Food was high end and pricey, but very nice. Prices were good for the type of place you are in. A great must, if you can.

Really nice place. Definitely a bit of a paint b numbers gastropub complete with fancy grilled cheeses and lots of dark wood decor. Still, selection is fantastic. Tons of top notch national beers and a lot of tasty locals for the out of tower to discover all that St Louis has to offer.food is as I said a bit pretentious but tasty nonetheless. My favorite place in st Louis, let alone beer place.

(Visited 10/2013): Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar is located in downtown St. Louis on Locust Street between 10th and 11th. Metered parking is available in the surrounding area, as are a couple garages.
The inside opens up to bar area with brick walls, ceiling fans and cool chandeliers. Behind the bar are shelves full of various bottled spirits, wines and beers and a library-style rolling ladder so the bartender can access them. The long line of tap handles is also visible behind the bar. There is an upper level as well with additional seating.
The draught list consists of around 50 beers, with many regional brewers represented like Boulevard, Perennial, Schlafly, Sixth Row, Civil Life and 4 Hands. Sampler sizes are available. A couple hundred bottles as well, again with many nearby breweries represented like 2nd Shift, Schlafly, Boulevard and Crown Valley. They also had a collaborative bottle of Chocolate Ale from a sister location called Baileyís.
Service on a weekday afternoon was good. The bartender was well-versed in the beer selection and friendly.
I did not have any food on my visit.
All in all I was pleased with my visit here and would definitely put Bridge near the top of the list for future visits to St. Louis.

Great selection of beers on tap. Absolutely nothing to complain but I liked Baileyís Range more. Definitely worth a visit.

The ambiance here is very chill and classy. Itís a spacious brick building with a wooden bar downstairs and tables and couches upstairs. There are large wooden shelves behind the bar housing fine liquors, wine and beer. The beer selection is extensive featuring a great mix of locals, micros and imports. Prices are great. Iíve noticed itís comparatively affordable to drink craft beer in St. Louis bars. Drafts are available in 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz, and growlers. The bartender was superb as well. We were out on a very slow Sunday night and this was one of the best stops.
