100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 kegbear (8) Orange, California | August 25, 2008 Stopped by the Bruery and got a one on one personal tour and a taste of the Barrel Aged Levud from Tyler King. Tyler is a great guy and showed me the entire process and told me about the beers that The Bruery has in the works. The brewing facility is all brand sparkling new and well laid out. The small tasting bar is very nicely done. Overall more impressive than the Lost Abbey or Alesmith brewerys I’ve been to. Thanks again for the tour Tyler. | 98 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 mwidmann (8) California | April 27, 2011 Great place to drink and talk beer | 98 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 paiste2002 (10) Saugus, California | October 26, 2008 The Bruery is located in a small industrial complex just off the 57 in Placentia CA.
The brewery it’s self is open and accessible and looks to be brand new, very well laid out and very impressive. The tasting area is located just to the right of the brewing equipment. The bar it’s self is on the smallish side but very nicely set up. This was the release weekend for the Autumn Maple and the finial bottles of the Barrel aged Levud’s.
They had all bottles available for tasting as well as the Imperial Orchard White, Autumn Maple and Humulus Bruin on tap. The Humulus Bruin was incredible to say the very least, this one needs to be added to the regular bottled line-up, it’s that good.
While no food is sold they did have Belgian waffles and fried chicken for free, the waffles were incredible! The big value of the day was a cheese plate that came with the Imperial Orchard White, awesome value at $4.00. The staff were all very friendly and I spent some time speaking with both Patrick and Rachel Rue who were both super friendly and very enjoyable to speak with. The Bruery is a must if your within driving distance or if your going to be in the Los Angeles area on Friday or Saturday afternoon. I had a great time, thank you to both Patrick and Rachel for a great time.
| 96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 GypsyHead (16) California | March 10, 2012 Great place to stop by and grab a couple brews. Nicely sized and well laid out, easily handles the number of fans that show up. Great selection of Bruery brews and the servers were friendly, knowledgable, and quick. Great feeling/ambiance and overall a great brewery | 96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 johnholzer (1) California | February 27, 2010 The Bruery just flat out rocks. Great people, great beer and a great atmosphere [Alkaline Trio heard everytime I’ve been there... Justsayin]. If in the socal area, it’s a must visit. | 96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 NachlamSie (447) Tennessee | July 8, 2012 This place is in a business plaza. They had just completed their new tasting room and as a result it is very stark and minimalist in their, but I kind of like that vibe. There is a food truck outside for those who may be hungry, but no beer is allowed outside. The draft lineup was stunning. I love it when I go to a brewery and they have some beers that are harder to find. This hit the jackpot. They probably had close to 20 taps of only Bruery beer and several of it was rare and extremely delicious. I went here on a Friday night and it was slammed. We had to wait around for even standing room. The wait to get a brew was not long though. I was thrilled with my visit. | 94 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 JohnC (147) Mission Viejo, California | September 6, 2008 Went there for the first day that their tasting room was open. It’s easy to find, right off of the 57 & Orangethorpe, and the folks there (Patrick and team) were all very friendly. Nice little tasting bar with generous samples. we’ll be back. | 94 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 19/20 buenosdiaz (10) California | June 1, 2010 A blessed place. An easy going vibe. Great, interesting beers. They get the gourmet food trucks there too. | 92 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 DrDrinkAll420 (6) California | February 9, 2013 great atmosphere cool staff , and Great beer...need i say more? | 92 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 19/20 gEUS (33) Linden, Belgium | October 27, 2012 After having e-mailed the responsible manager, we were welcomed with open arms for a quick brewery tour outside opening hours. Staff was really warm and open and always helpful.
