74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 tcane7 (30) Pennsylvania | December 20, 2012 Great beer and cheese. Service was mixed, some nice, some very condescending. Lots of nerds (not beer geeks, socially awkward nerds that should not be out in public) in the place | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 scoots511 (3) Santa Cruz, California | October 24, 2012 Awesome selection of beer, cheese, and wine. All of life's great foods! | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 17/20 womencantsail (390) Garbage Grove, California | August 2, 2012 Nice retail space and bar in Old Town Orange. The front portion of the store is the retail side with bottles of beer, wine, cheeses, and other assorted items for sale. The bar is in the back, and there’s a patio open now as well. Flights of Bruery beers available and full pours of everything else. Kind of pricey, but it’s the Bruery. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 nbutler11 (301) Phoenix, Arizona | July 26, 2012 Stopped by on the way out of town after receiving so much love from The Bruery during RBSG. Tasteful space packed with a wider array of beer than expected. Polite service and attractive looking snacks. Wish I would have had more time to settle in, but I expect to make it back. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 jredmond (161) Manhattan, New York | July 12, 2012 Stopped by the bruery tasting room on our way back from LA. huge, clean space with lots of seating and bar room. Nice staff. Lots of seasonal stuff available on draft and a ton of bottles to choose from as well Def check it out | 94 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 NachlamSie (447) Tennessee | July 8, 2012 This is a classy beer store that also has small plates of food and gourmet cheese. The selection of Bruery beer is extensive, though not as vast as the brewery itself. You can have a beer or a tasting flight, though consumption is only allowed in the dining area. Guest taps and bottles are selected with great taste. The prices seem right for everything I looked at. | 92 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 19/20 Dogbrick (561) Columbus, Ohio | June 19, 2012 (Visited 12/2011): Bruery Provisions tap room/store is located in Orange near the Plaza Square roundabout on Glassell and Chapman. Street parking is available in all directions but could be tricky to find a spot at times.
The interior opens into a beer store, with coolers on the left and shelves on the right. Several hundred bottles from domestic craft brewers like The Bruery(!), Hair Of The Dog, Hangar 24, Russian River, Oskar Blues, Sudwerk and many more. Imports from the likes of Mikkeller, Nogne etc too. As for the tap list it is an impressive array of Bruery offerings, including Black Tuesday on my visit.
Service was very good on my visit, both in the store (where they were doing a bottle release leading up to Christmas) and in the tasting room.
I did not try any food on this visit.
Overall it is hard to think of anything I would improve with this place. This will be an automatic stop any time I am remotely close from now on. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 14/20 gimmeabeer (10) , | April 12, 2012 heres the thing...recently, they changed their setup from just flights from various breweries and styles to pints and 2 flights from their own source. Thats fine. However, there was significant price boost, and the selection still seems a bit unever. THe bottle selection is the main reason to stop in, with great prices on normally higher cost beers from Belgium , like chimay or BRasserie D’CHouffe and American breweries like Allagash. Service can be unknowledgable and lackadaisacal. Food is nice, with fresh charcuterie and artisinal cheeses available. | 94 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 jhgrantjr (37) Tennessee | March 10, 2012 Great shop in the Old Town. The amount of different beer is amazing, and their beer "flights" along with the food you can purchase (cheese/meet) is a cool experience. If I go back to Southern California, I will certainly try to go here again. | 92 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 m4rest88 (17) Beverly Hills, California | March 5, 2012 A great place with a great bottle selection. Sucks that they cant pour full pints, but its an amazing place with a good aura. Cheese compliments everything very, very well. Professional staff, willing to help whenever, however. Too bad its such a drive from West Los Angeles. |
