Great shop in the Old Town. The amount of different beer is amazing, and their beer "flights" along with the food you can purchase (cheese/meet) is a cool experience. If I go back to Southern California, I will certainly try to go here again.
A great place with a great bottle selection. Sucks that they cant pour full pints, but its an amazing place with a good aura. Cheese compliments everything very, very well. Professional staff, willing to help whenever, however. Too bad its such a drive from West Los Angeles.
Very cool bottle shop and beer/wine tasting room in a cool little town. You walk into the bottle shop which is very well organized, in the back is a cheese counter and a little sitting area for beer and wine tasting flights. Great service from a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Selection of beer in the bottle shop and from the tasting menu was excellent, especially the tasting menu. I expected mostly Bruery beers but they had a great mix of outside beers. Value was great on the tasting flights, some of the bottles seemed a tab bit high but not “gouge you” high. Overall this is an awesome place, great place to relax and have some beer and wine and take some beer to go. Highly recommended.
Tasting room/beer and wine bottle shop with some cheese and other food items as well. They don’t serve whole beers but do multiple flights of samples including beers from other breweries as well as many of their own. A very good stop to try lots of LA area stuff. The Bruery are design pros and this place is no exception. Pretty easy to find, right off the circle in downtown Orange. Feels more almost more like a deli than a brewery tasting room, and isn’t as cool as their brewery itself, but I like all the guest taps and bottles.
Near the Bruery, about a half hour drive from LAX airport. A good selection of Bruery bottles, with a few differences from what they had at the brewery’s tasting room. A pretty good bottle selection, at reasonable prices for Southern California. Not the best bottle store I visited on the trip, as it included Pizza Port’s and Texas Liquor in Carlsbad. The outstanding feature is the tasting room where a quarter pint of many South Cal well rated books are served. My one complaint that detracted from this vacation stop, was that I settled up in cash on one of my trips for bottles and a flight, but was approached later with my Visa number. Its very possibly just a one-off error, but I would recommend people keep their purchases on their cards to keep records in any case. People were doing their own thing here, tons of couples and small groups of friends. service: One has to get up and get their flights and bottles. Still very much worth a stop.
Sm store in a nice little old town antique area with lots of shopping to keeps the gals entertsined. Pretty good diverse beer global selection and a small batch of decent moderately priced wines. In he back a deli counter with cheeses and a bunch of Bruery and some guest beers on taps. 6-8 taster flights avail at very fair prices. 2 oz pours of BT also limit 1.
Cute shop in the heart of Old Town Orange. Amazing selection of beers - not only from the USA but also a good selection of Belgians - I was excited to see a few De Struise beers here. They have their shelves and fridges organized by style which was great for finding the sorts of beers I was after. The staff were very helpful and have good beer knowledge.
Small storefront that is easy to miss. Once inside you can see when the renovation money was spent. Great bottle space with plenty of fridge space with what you see first. Tons of Bruery Beers plus many others from around the country. A dell area is what you see next with a great selection of meats and cheese and olives. We had a little of everything and I was very satisfied. Great rotation of tap beers for tasting and reasonable selection of wines to try given that this is a beer showcase. My only complaint is that you can’t get a full glass of beer or wine. Also, if you buy a bottle you can’t drink it there. Other than that, the tasting area was fine, the decor was cool and my friends and I had fun. I’d go back if I were near there again.
Stopped in here real quick after the bruery RS party to pick up a few bottles I had waiting for me. Quality was pretty good. Lots of different beers and wines. Nothing overly rare or anything like that, just plenty of solid offerings. The place truly is a one stop shop if you are looking to get everything you need for a tasting. Grab a beer, some cheese, and you are good to go. Service was a bit spotty but the place was pretty packed so no big deal. The girls at the register could have used a bit more help but they still moved the line pretty quickly. The selection was good, not great. I noticed quite a few tasty offerings but when you are from PA and have access to most of the things from out there you really have to be wowed to impress me. I just wish we could have stayed a bit longer but we had places to be. Next time I am out there for a party I will have to spend a bit more time here.
Extremely cool bar/bottle shop in downtown Orange. Both walls are lined with coolers and shelves housing some great brews for take home. The back of the store has a few tables and they always have great Bruery brews as well as some guest taps. The flights are very reasonably priced as well as their cheese plates. Great selection of cheese and the bartender we had was pretty good at suggesting pairings. Every time I’m here I overhear patrons sampling and discussing beers, which is very refreshing. Really wish we had somewhere like this in Dallas.
