24 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 1/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 2/20
Drove 2 hrs through LA traffic to get there on 10/29. Turns out that they had a special tasting event for members only. Not mentioned on website where I confirmed they were open. Guy at the door thought it was funny. Thought it was funny that they had turned others away who had come a long way for nothing as well.
I guess they have enough customers to go around..

Awesome spot in the middle of nowhere. Great loud atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Kid friendly. Maybe 30-40 of their own taps available, lots of take-home bottles. Great friendly service.

Great spot. Loads of taps with excellent variety, including lots of limited release stuff. Prices are pretty decent, and you can get flights/ sample-size pours of the beers. The ambiance is good, thereís lots of seating, high ceilings, a view into the brewery. The staff is friendly and effective. They also sell a handful of bottles for takeaway. Definitely a place worth visiting if you are anywhere near.

Joined the RS this year, so was excited to check out the tasting room. Place was packed on Saturday about an hour after they opened. Tons of beer on tap and tasters available (some were a bit pricey though). I still canít believe all the stuff they had on tap.

Stopped in early Saturday afternoon, and it was quickly filling up, but I had no trouble grabbing a seat at the bar and ordering and receiving a flight of beer. Tremendous selection of exotics that Iím guessing are not available elsewhere. Some of the beer is frankly pretty "out there", but theyíree obviously well-crafted and fun to try. Friendly service, good prices on the drafts (bottles looked expensive), but I wish I had some food to soak up some of the high abv.

Visited on a Friday, arriving right at 2:00 when they opened. Short drive from SNA airport. Slightly dodgy feel to the area around, but inside was really nice and chill. Lots of spots to sit. I set up at the bar. You have to go up to the register to order though, which was a little annoying, but the flights were filled pretty fast and you just took the beers back to your seat and chilled with them anyway. Chatted with two Reserve Society guys, one seemed to be annoyed by people and the other guy was really fun - lots of info about the bewery and just geeking out about good beer. Tons of beer on tap. It is HIGHLY annoying that they have some that only Reserve Society members can order. Being from out of town, this felt very shitty. Charge me a little more for a pour, or only let non RS people get tasters or something. This is honestly the only bad thing I have to say about the place.

I was pretty pumped to return here after four years and see this new tasting room I kept hearing about. As soon as I opened the door I was blasted with a wall of noise from all of the people packed into the medium-small space. Atmosphere was solid I guess. Every single seat in the place is filled, people are standing at every available counter and enjoying their beers. Service was a bit up and down. I got lucky and the line died right as I wanted to get my beers so I didnít have any wait. The bartender was pretty nice and talked to me for a minute or so before someone else came up to order another beer. I found a small sliver of area right where people fill out their flight menus and made sure I left plenty of room for them, I guess that wasnít enough room for one of the other bartenders because he about ran over to me to tell me to move over. I moved the three extra inches over and that was apparently enough for him to leave me alone for then on. Quality was solid for everything I tried. Selection was huge, as it should be at a brewery that makes this many beers. I got a sampler so I got to try five of them, most were just ok but I did really like the one. Decided to leave after that as it was becoming even more packed, I am hoping to return again before we move on to give it a more detailed look. Prices were a touch high on some of the beers but they tended to be some of the more labor intensive ones so I can kind of understand that. Overall I still love the place, I hope we can stop in again in the coming days.

We visited The Bruery on 20.12.2013. First it looks to be a typical US microbrewery place, in the middle of an office complex, garage style. However they are different and are offering great, very special beers. They have a round 30 ales on tap! Many of them sour, lambic style - very very good. Had a sour stout, amazing.
