Comments: This venue had some of the best events for Philly Beer Week, so my tap selection exposure was atypical. They served specialty beers in nice mini snifters. If you sit at a table, they will want you to move your tab from the bar, which is understandable. Lighting is low, very low. Seating area is at a premium. Looks like they do some interesting cocktails. Didn’t see the food menu but probably gastropub type. Could be fun to check out.

Came in for an event during Philly Beer Week and was not very impressed. It was crowded but they did a poor job of managing the crowd. I was with a small group of four and no matter where we stood someone from the bar was telling us we were in the way. We asked to go outside to their nice looking patio that was nearly empty but were turned away due to neighborhood "noise regulations", only to watch about a dozen other people just walk right out with no resistance. Oh, and this was July and no AC to speak of. Too far out of the way to ever make my way back.

Came here on a busy friday night for a Hill farmstead tap take over... Obviously crowed but they did a good job with crowd control. I didnt even look at what they have in bottles or what was on draft besides hill farmstead beers so I cant comment to much on their selection. But the Hill farmstead beers were great! Server (monica) was great even though she was busy. I had their burger... I was surprised how good it was, considering I was expecting pub style food. Large open windows up front, decent amount of tables and nice size patio out back. Clean place with a nice bathroom, no complaints here.

Mid-size establishment with comfortable, modern, light industrial feel. Tap list was extensive and with many styles available. Some beers come in 12oz and some 16 oz but the bar decides the size. I had a couple Alesmith X while I was there. Had the burger, which was very nice and so are the fries. Service was very good for a busy Saturday night. I could see coming back and having a few pints. Really enjoyable place.

This is the top of my list of places and this was rated on the opening night. A few opening night jitters are excused for this new place on South St. in Philly. The tap list is fantastic with local beers sharing space with rare and more obscure selections and enough room for a Genny Cream Ale. After a little wait the food came out hot and perfectly done, mostly bar type food, fish and chips are outstanding along with a few specials. Wine and cocktails are available in a nice old looking space. There is a patio but it was raining when we stopped. From the owners of Hawthornes a few blocks away, this is a must in an up and coming neighborhood.
