Based on web order. Excellent selection. Many beers from good breweries that are limited production. A web store would be nice, but email and phone calls worked well. Prompt shipment. Got a couple of handy shippers to reuse. Highly recommended.

A small beer store, but everything in it was spectacular; tons of Mikeller, Jolly Pumpkin, etc. Store clerk was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

There is no better place to buy craft beer in South Carolina. These guys are not only knowledgeable, but down-to-earth, friendly, and extremely helpful in providing suggestions based on my mood or preferences. Highly recommended.

The guys are always great when I go in and always willing to spend a few minutes discussing new arrivals or finding something new that suits your palate. CBX is a great supporter and advocate of the craft beer movement in Charleston as well.

This is a great beer store hidden in the historic area of Charleston. The guys here know their stuff, and were very knowledgeable. I found their selection very good especially the foreign and local stuff. The stuff on tap is rare and even rarer on Tuesday nights. Get on their mailing list if you live near by or not worth noting what they got. They with help of Coast Brewing company organize one of the best brew festivals - http://brewvival.com/

By far the best beer store in Charleston. Awesome staff, super friendly & knowledgeable. Amazing American & European bottle selection, plus growler fills. Rare beer Tuesdays and often special casks on the weekends.

Wow. Lots of beers you won’t find anywhere else in SC, nice staff, and a growler station (w/ "rare beer Thursday" selections). A whole lot of very good beer is a very small place. Kinda pricey, though.

These guys make the most out of their small space. Tons of beer is in here, easily the best selection in the entire state. The rare keg Tuesday and Thursday is usually something very desirable from what I’ve seen on their website. We were lucky enough to pick up a growler of El Camino Unreal Ale. Mini kegs, pony kegs, basically anything in the entire store is for sale. I would personally have liked to have seen some more American micros, but that is just my personal tastes. For those who prefer Scandinavian or Belgian beer this place delivers big time. There were several imports available that I had never even seen before in person. Every beer is available as a single. Honestly, I don’t know what these guys can possibly do different to make this store better.

Good selection...not the best but decent. (Okay it is the best in Charleston). I think this will improve as more brewers ship to South Carolina. Cost is a little steep but it is downtown Charleston. Again, decent selection, especially for such a small store. I do like the fact that they have growlers.

If you live or visit Charleston then there is no other place to buy beer. These guys do it right. The store is in the historic district downtown so the prices can be a little higher but that is completely negated by the service, staff knowledge, and overall selection.
