Addition of Uncle Sams USA section, which is non-smoking and has a TV screen for watching sport, solves two of the previous criticisms of Cockney Pub at a stroke (i.e. too small and too smokey). Beer prices are excellent for the area. Jazz session on Sunday afternoons.

Highly recommended. If not for the moody barkeeper, the small smoked up room with lights on and no music, then definitely for the selection of whiskies, Danish microbrew on tap and British delicasies.

A really nice British Pub in the center of Århus, situated in the one of the pedestrian streets, but just off of the really trendy cafe street, so the beer prices are very reasonable. It became my regular while I lived in Århus - and I still visit very often - like every fortnight - after moving to Copenhagen. The friendly staff and the continous stream of new beers and the events bringing in new beers keeps me coming back. Definately the best place in Århus - and one of the top bars in Denmark.

A place to visit again. The waitress gave us excellent service and adviced all of us personally on a mediumbusy day. Lots of taps and bottles from Britain. Great atmosphere.

One of the best beerplaces in Denmark. Great attending customers willing to talk about what good beer is about. Outdoor serving in summer. If you are lucky really rare beers are on tap. Sometimes (easter and in Århus festuge) you can get really treats. Good whisky selection aswell. Prices exstremely low considering its location in Aarhus center. Rerated because of no smoking area cancelled. Way too smokey to be pleasent. I am considering only to come in summertime so I can sit outside!

It looks like a very old pub, and as often happens, it’s quite dark inside. The selection must be the best in town, with a handful of Real Ales on cask, their own lovely Wintercoat Cockney Imperial Stout (best beer here), Fur and Kongens on tap, one real cider and, impressive, a good number of bottles, mostly English self-imported ales that you won’t find elsewhere on the continent! We got also good advice on the beers, and directions for a splendid restaurant (the Mephisto). I’ll become a regular here...

This is not a place where people smoke while they drink, its a place where people drink wile they smoke. That said, it’s nice to go to a great beer bar full of friendly, "normal" people instead of hipsters staring at their phones. Very cozy interior with lots of character. Good selection with mostly Danish craft and some British and Belgian classics. The taplist skews towards the strong and malty, which is appropriate given the smoking.

Small but good. Nice selection (9 Cask taps - 11 Draught taps). Guinness, WinterCoat Cockney Imperial Stout (made for this bar) and one cider. Large selection of bottles beers. Also a lot of different whiskeys.
