I visited this place a couple of times in my recent stay. Seems like a typical resto-bar that can get pretty busy. The service is a little sketchy, but not awful. They have about 20 beers on tap, with a handful of local and interesting beers. They have TVs and food, and the like. There is a bigger dining area towards the back where the bathrooms are, and a patio out front. Solid, but not spectacular. An easy walk from downtown.

A solid bar in Seattle in the Pioneer Square area near downtown. Oddly when I was there on a Tuesday evening it was fairly empty. The tap list was decent for an out-of-towner, although I suspect it is not so interesting for a local. Mostly local offerings- Yakima, Almanac, Fort George, Black Raven, etc. The tap list featured on the online menu was pretty out-of-date (and unfortunately was more exciting than the actual list). Nonetheless, the tap list is large enough that you can find something to choose from. I did not order any food. Overall, the beer list was not terribly exciting when I was there, mostly just solid local offerings, and the atmosphere was a bit quiet but that does not seem to be the norm based on prior reviews...

Conveniently located south of downtown Seattle. Easy as to walk from just about anywhere central. Good tap selection and worth just grabbing a seat at the bar. There are a few tables outside for a nice day too, which I happened to time perfectly. Who says it always rains in Seattle? Well worth a look-in for some good beers on tap.

A pleasant bar just South of downtown seemingly patroned by business types with a more than decent selection. I have not checked the bottles at depth, but good local alternatives are to be found on draught and it is atmospherous enough, all kinds of conversations being held around. Certainly not a Seattle must hit, but interesting enough if you’re in the area although steep prices from downtown are to be expected. I did not eat.

Stopped by here for a beer and to kill some time before a Mariners game. Nice older building and bar but clean and well kept, seating on the sideway for nice days, which is where we sat. Service was pretty bad, not sure if it was because we were outside or what but it was slow and sometimes non-existent. Very good selection of local brews, micros and a few imports. Prices are a bit high on beer and really high on food, we decided not to eat here due to the prices. Overall a nice place to stop by and see what they have on tap but the prices would keep me from coming here often.

A busy, efficient city-centre bar with good quality and choice of beers. Probably the best city centre bar, certainly worth a visit. I was pleased it was not just pints or thimble-size tasters!

Interesting spot in a sllghtly rougher area in the south side of downtown. Huge old building with high ceilings and a lot of character opening to a narrow-ish bar area with tables in the bar. 20 or so tap list solid local with some national items. Lotta personality.

(Visited 09/2012): Collins Pub is located on 2nd Ave in downtown Seattle. It was a bit of a hike from our hotel so not sure what the parking options are.
The interior is brick with a pea soup green and burnt sienna color scheme. Hanging lights with a floor to ceiling curtain in the back. The bar is on the left side and there is a large chalkboard listing the beers. High tables next to the bar and booths in the rear. Multiple banks of taps behind the bar.
Collins has around 20 taps with several regional offerings from Elysian, Deschutes, Anacortes and others. Other craft brewers like Epic and New Belgium are present. They also have over 50 bottles from brewers like Elysian, Hair Of The Dog, Deschutes and Lost Abbey. Some imports as well like Chimay, Maredsous, Duvel and De Dolle.
Service on a weekday evening was good. Our server was knowledgeable about the beers and made good food recommendations.
Food at The Collins pub is eclectic. We stuck with appetizers (Charcuterie plate and cheese) and it was good.
Overall this is a good gastropub in the downtown area.

Went after a show at the 5th Street Theatre. The place was pretty empty although a few people began to trickle in after we got there. There seemed to be one guy working the bar, and he served us as well (at our table). I asked for a beer list and he said to check the chalkboard, which listed their taps. They had about a dozen, all of which were fairly acclaimed, but evidently a lot more bottles, which I never got to try.
