The Crunkleton is awesome! Just based on the name I was expecting a sports/dive bar but this is the polar opposite. It’s a very classy joint with focus on authentic cocktails. If I wasn’t on such a tight budget I would’ve tried some of their signature drinks. The ambiance is very open with wood and brick and old school furnishings and a liquor library complete with a rolling ladder. There is a pool table and a serious dart board, but it seems like billiards and darts become a sophisticated gentleman’s game because the setup and surroundings are so classy. The bartenders were very professional and super, super friendly. Beer selection is pretty damn good for downtown Chapel Hill. While not vast or featuring any rarities, quality offerings from Founders, Duck Rabbit, Avery and a few others were available. I’ll be back if I’m in town again.

Sweet bar, primarily for liquor, but has about 10 tap of various craft brews, nothing too exciting, but always something drinkable. The excitement comes from the incredible selection of liquors on hand. A really beautiful wooden bar and interior, large free pool table in the back.
